What's better than Fast Advance? Fast Advance with Caprice. Everyone knows you can't rely on an FA these days thnks to clot and you want a safe server just in case that comes down. So here's what you do:

Guard your remote with caprice. I don't know why no one has thought about it before, but NEH has 17 influence. If you can't play biotic, just play caprice in NEH, it'll make scoring in remotes a lot easier, and being able to threaten the remote game is big.

The killer tech in this deck is totally Bandwidth and Hudson. Either is a losing proposition when running against caprice. And if the run ends they keep the bandwidth tag. If they get in without breaking hudson, then they have to pick between the agenda and the caprice. If they don't have an AI breaker, forgeddaboutit. AI breakers are bad anyways, no one runs these anymore thanks to swordsman.

If you've silently been thinking to yourself, "NEH is good, but it could be better" you're right. Take this bad boy for a spin.

Seems totally legit and not a Troll at all. "Put Caprice in it" is definitely a deck strategy on its own.

Oh my God, you're totally right, this is deck is totally bonkers! I took this deck to a GNK and went 4-0, winning Prepaid Kate, 2 Noises and 1 Andy. It's PERFECT, just what you need in the modern meta. It's so versatile and great. Everyone bring this deck to worlds! Only idea I had was maybe you should cut 2 Eli for a Gemini and 1 Bandwith? I've found it helps a lot.

been running something very similar to this for a couple months now (with maybe a 4 card difference), and it's been undefeated in our local league. awesome to see that others have been able to get it to work. hudson is definitely the mvp and excellent noise tech too.

Hmm, our meta is dominated by Faust right now. Faust + Shaper + Self-modifying Code = safe to run against any ice. I've seen people even stick Inti into decks to protect against Swordsman. So for me this deck is a tough sell. I will say I love it for being different and that in a different meta I'd be excited to try it.

This deck is a refreshing change for those tired of having to play around Clot and losing on R&D. Caprice Nisei's back, and better than ever.

I got absolutely crushed by Josh01 who was playing almost this exact deck in the final swiss round of the ANRPC finals in Chicago.

Crazy deck.

Do you think explode-a-palooza might combo better with red herrings than character assassination?

26 Oct 2015 gumonshoe

@triorph that's a great idea since they'd have to access it twice and fund those Caprice runs. I'll take that under advisement for 2.0.

The three best ways to win in Netrunner are Caprice, FA and Meat Damage. This deck can do 2 out of 3 and the only way it could get better is if you could fit a scorched earth in there somewhere. Tier 1 for sure.

I ran this setup with 7 Allele Repression and a Strongbox. My opponent forfeited when I rezzed Caprice Nisei.

@trioph: Character Assassination was clutch in beating those obnoxious Data Leak Reversal decks that are floating around when I had a go at the deck. They're even nice enough to let you easily retrieve it with Interns, giving you 2 points and stopping the mill.

I ran this recently in a GNK and against Andy the Viper actually won me a game by preventing a siphon. I dumped 7 credits into the trace. Hudson was also better than expected. Prevented several medium digs until it eventually died to parasite.

So I played against this, and I've never found anything harder to get into. Even my IT Department protected servers are nothing compared to this!

OK, real talk - this kind of makes me want to import Hudson 1.0 into a Jinteki Code Gate Spam deck and park him right on R&D.

Haha. What is up with these NEH decks? This one is at least plausible. Much trolling going on.

0/10, would not play psi game against this deck

This is pretty legit. Look out for Caprice NEH at worlds!

I know that everyone is looking at this and thinking: lol joke deck.

But I want you to know that I've actually played this. I've actually attempted to tune it. And I actually do believe there are moments in the NEH game where you want caprice in your deck. It's a good card. Its 4 influence for a reason, and when you're getting hit by a medium every turn at match point, you'll be happy if you have one in your deck.

It probably doesn't actually belong in the remote unless you're clot locked. As a 1 of, behind a tollboth, you might as well try it though. If you're looking for a sideways include, seriously consider Caprice.

The card is good. And I've won NBN games with it installed against good players playing good decks.
