This is my first deck. It may be total trash.
With Saraswati Mnemonics adding an installation to an advance, the 6/2 Jumon can be naturally advanced out in 2 turns .. and thereon heavily supplement your advance game for the rest of the game. This deck is built entirely around being able to do that and masking when it is actually a Jumon.
.
Advanceables
Building around that further, I packed the deck with cards which will look like Jumon — cards which get advanced 2-3 times upon installation: high advance agendas, ambushes (Cerebral Overwriter + Neurostasis), and NGO Front.
The high advance agendas thin the number of agendas down to 8 .. making for a better ratio of agendas to advanceable assets — 8:8.
You're dead if you go broke.
Also, because all of those advanceable assets are harmless out of remote and trashable for cheap, they make the deck paper thin for anyone looping centrals.
Getting just one ambush sitting out gets you set up for Otoroshi and, where needed, Trick of Light.
.
ICE : Ain't No Stopping
The ice doesn't end runs; they're going to get through. Diversion of Funds will be brutal, since you cannot go broke.
The big ICE (Anansi, Vampyronassa) taxes efficiently; get them live on the centrals. Use Tatu-Bola as a cheap placeholder + gear check until you do.
Other efficient cheapos include Otoroshi coupled with your advanceable ambushes and Konjin coupled with your big ICE.
.
Minimal Trashables
Since the ambushes make the deck paper thin to loopers on the centrals, the next best thing to [¬ End the Run] is accessing untrashable cards at the end.
I leaned as hard as I could into minimizing further cheap trashables, with exception for Spin Doctor, because I think it's just too effective a cheap draw+recursion, both sorely needed .. even considering Jinteki's ample options for recursion:
.
An operation economy adds further untrashable cards. Ultimately there's 22 agendas, assets, upgrades to 27 dead-end operations and ICE. This makes up somewhat for the passable ICE.
.
Economy
Can't get enough credits: (Seriously, help me find more..)
Free advances:
Note: For NGO Front, using Saraswati's ID prevents any trash for credits for a turn if you pique the runner. It's still worth it and can only get better with Jumon/La Costa Grid, but I wish Saraswati came out in the era of the looser Mitosis, which prevents score/rez on the turn of the install.
Mentionable Unused:
Charlotte Caçador
Seems like another NGO Front. Like NGO, using Saraswati's ID prevents any trash for credits for a turn if you pique the runner — worse, her start of turn ability won't fire, so that's out. Even with the ability to rez her: at 1 advance, she's a loss rather than a burst recoup. At 2 advances, which is needed to match all other advanceable cards in the deck, she's a major loss. Even if you get her through, the deck doesn't protect remotes enough to keep her on drip.
Celebrity Gift doesn't seem worth advertising your trashables.
