Revised econ engine from D&D Kit build. -2 Crescentus, +1 Parasite. -1 Paintbrush, +1 Opus. -3 Armitage, +1 Leprechaun, +2 Test Run. -1 Paricia, +2 Code Siphon.
More rig-building involved here, but also more powerful in the late game is the theory. Lots of tutoring to get the programs in place and in the order I want.

As someone who runs Kit a lot I find Paintbrush rather...sketchy at times. The biggest issue is that Paintbrush works on Rezed ICE only, so a lot of facechecking is required, but who knows, you may have just enough counter-measures for it. Bare in mind that Opus is slow, and predictable, meaning unless you have other means of getting money then the corp can calculate whether you'll have enough money to get through, (Stimhack is always a life-saver.) I would agree with Let us know how you get on. |

Hi enk, thanks for the feedback. I agree, the clone chip seems superior to some of the card slots here. I have decided to swap out 2x Test Run for 2x Clone Chip and will see how that performs. Certainly it should help against the program trasher upgrades. Regarding the MU, its true that ~1/2 the slots are programs. Of those however, about half of them are disposable/trashed on use. I am sure that your suggestions on Yog.0 and Datasucker are probably correct, however I would like to point out the rationale for my possibly excessive count on these cards. Basically I want to pressure the corp from turn 1 to rez ICE even if I do not open with a breaker. Having 3x DaVinci and 3x Datasucker helps with this idea, I.e. install click 1, run at an unrezzed ICE. This way it encourages a board state where all the ICE is rezzed and I know what kind of ICE is waiting behind the first "code gate" I encounter each turn, once the servers start getting stacked. Also i can parasite the destroyers more easily before a Marcus Batty or Keegan Lane gets back there. Otherwise I am getting free early accesses with added benefit. And on Yog.0, it is essential to the late game strategy, with the console of course. I feel more comfortable with a 2x, but could probably safely go down to a 1-of. Since a Shattered Remains could nuke the Yogosaur and the sysops could do damage with the #Leprechaun, I have been considering whether slots might be made available for a Sacrificial Construct or two, but it might be easier to do the memchips thing as you suggest. I really like the idea of being able to tutor my extra MU though. And last but not least, I never plan on going tagme, the Code Siphon I have not experimented with before but it seems to fit the same vein of "rez that R&D ice first turn or else". And if it isn't a hard ETR, I just got the Opus out on turn 1 with enough money leftover to clear the tag. And got the corp ICE rezzed while I was at it. Anyway thanks again for the feedback, I will be sure to revisit these suggestions after some testing! |

I've also been trying Code Siphon recently in Kit, and it always feels a bit underwhelming. It's a card I like on paper, but often the tag has been a bigger pain than expected. I'm currently toying with a tag-me Kit build which could be a nice fit for Code Siphon. There's also a niche use for the card: it has the same "you may" clause as Account Siphon, which means you can use it to get around Enhanced Login Protocol for 0 credits and still get access. Early pressure Kit is a nice concept, but I often find it hard to pull off because shaper doesn't offer many early pressure tools, which is where the 10 influence really hurts. Let me know how the DaVinci is working out for you, since it's one of the few things I haven't tried. For pressuring R&D, early Modded R&D Interface is a killer. |

I would like to fit a Stimhack, maybe instead of the 2nd Yog.0? Will have to test it out. Assuming the full rig gets set up, running should be virtually zero-cost with Yog.0 and Paintbrush and so money should be less of an issue. That is best case scenario though. I also have considered Freelance Coding Contract as a surprise econ card. Thanks again for the suggestions! |

This deck will run into some serious memory issues. With all these Keegan Lanes and Marcus Batties running amok, relying on Leprechaun for memory is extremely suicidal. Parasite is also tricky to play with limited MU because you have to have that free MU for it. At most you can have 4 + 2 programs out (one on Dinosaurus, 3 on MU and 2 on the Leprechaun on the last MU) and half of your deck is programs. There's also 7 tutors here, which means you are not going to need 3x Datasucker for instance, because it's very likely you'll never have more than 1 installed. 2x Yog.0 is also excessive, Clone Chips would add more value.
Make your life easier, add MU. Be it Akamatsu Mem Chip, or CyberSolutions Mem Chip if you want more targets for Modded.
Also, are you playing tag-me or not? If you are, Plascrete Carapace is required. If not, maybe you should just ditch the Magnum Opus and get Kati Jones to free up MU and lower the installation costs of your rig.
I think one Legwork is always good in Kit if you can somehow squeeze it in.
Kit is my favorite shaper, but I always end up with these clunky builds similar to this one. Usually the setup is too complicated or too expensive...
