Bifrost Array card challenge

Today's challenge: Bifrost Array

Deck building is fun! Making deck based on underused cards and mechanics is even more fun! If you feel the same, feel free to comment, suggest changes, link your decks, etc..

The idea of this isn't to make a tournament winning deck but rather a deck that uses an underused card as part of its core strategy while using other more common cards to support it.

The core concept of this deck is to optimise the number of times I can trigger Accelerated Beta Test and Director Haas' Pet Project to build a giant glacier. To make this viable I need to mitigate the risk of dumping agendas. Enter Jackson Howard and Museum of History.

NEXT Design: Guarding the Net seems like a good choice since it synergises well with a strategy that required lots of ice. High ice density is needed to make ABT and NEXT design triggers better.

Since I already have some good recursion, asset economy seems like the way to go. Adonis Campaign and Eve Campaign fits nicely here along with some Breaker Bay Grid and Architect for maximum runner annoyance. Sandburg and Ash 2X3ZB9CY are there to widen the scoring windows.

Possible changes include the ice suite apart from the NEXT ice, Advanced Concept Hopper and Project Wotan. Any suggestions?

Can you think of a better way to use Bifrost Array?

Ability could be worth quite some money with Corporate War. I like Project Vitruvius for this also. The Future is Now would work too.

I would use some combination of those over Project Wotan at least. You might as well go all in if you are going to use the Bifrost Array ability so you are more likely to already have an ability to copy when you score it.

Ice... I would rather see more Brainstorm and less [Wotan].(/en/card/04030) maybe even a Tollbooth or some Pop-up Windows.

I like the Chimera plus Sandburg concept, but I feel like it either deserves full support or none. As with Director Haas' Pet Project, I don't think you can really rely on the 1 ofs. I think I would rather have +2 NEXT Gold and -2 Assassin as well because it's basically the same thing and it helps the other ice.

@Raiddinn Good points all around. Project Wotan was mostly to lower agenda density but I guess it’s not too big of a deal to add one agenda and have all 2 and 1 pointers. And having an alternative trigger for Bifrost Array would be nice if I can’t get an Accelerated Beta Test first. Corporate War seems like the better one here since it synergises with the Sandburg play.

NEXT Gold Vs Assassin is a good point. I do like Wotan as an ABT target and it doesn’t suffer from the risk of Parasite as opposed to Brainstorm.

Side note: is it possible to edit a published deck?

Perhaps playing with the deck as the foundry would be better? Abt can be saved just by it's ability, no need for Jackson.

You could also then remove some ice (cause its safer) and throw in fast advance of some sort, and slam Abt and bifrost as much as possible, which would be fun.

Then maybe you can get rid of museum for sansan, and hopefully the Abt triggers can just protect the scoring mechanism on its own. Jeeves, and efficiency committee, with shipment, could work too, or good old biotic .But you can't rebuild a biotic server with Haas. And then the future is now for finding the pieces!

@SomeDudeWhile I do like the Wotan card in theory, I just can't seem to build a deck where it really works. Maybe this is the deck it's good in.

With Brainstorm, I would say don't try to use it primarily as a tax. I would suggest using it more as a trap and only rez it if you know it's going to get a few damage in. Just let them walk past it if you have to. Getting in a few brain damage and then having it get hit by a Parasite and die a few turns later isn't a bad trade at all. Sandburg also helps a little with that downside as well.

I would suggest Corporate Sales Team. It is a solid agenda by itself and if you could retrigger it with Bifrost Array you will be getting 2 credits everyone if your turns for quite a while. Maybe swap the Advanced Concept Hoppers for them. I like the idea of this deck though. It is just a shame that Bifrost Array is a 3/1 agenda.
