Worst of Three Worlds 11.2

OneFabric 98

The main agenda of this deck is to gain as many s as possible, and then meat the runner. If this does not work, then the plan is to keep scoring agendas until victory or BOOM! the runner.

Private Security Force will achieve this, with the manipulation from Efficiency Committee.

Thanks @Shieldwall and @FarCryFromHuman for their suggestions / advice.

Endless ( Triggering + Recursion )

With 24/7 News Cycle triggering Efficiency Committee, which could have already been triggered by Bifrost Array, it is possible for Efficiency Committee to gain quite a bit of counters. These counters can go toward BOOM!, or Biotic Labor + Private Security Force ( or a mixture of both). They can also go toward purging.

Recursion only happens with Jackson Howard.

Economy

I would need enough s to not only rez ice, but to advance and score agendas while having enough left over for tracing and meating. I am not sure if this deck has enough economy, and would welcome more suggestions on this regard.

ICE

The ICE choices are focused toward taxing the runner as much as possible, or keeping them out.

Tagging

The only way to tag the runner if they are not tagged by their own choice is through Midseason Replacements. In a normal turn without extra clicks, notice that BOOM! will not work as it is a and Midseason Replacements will also take up a click...of course, unless you have Biotic Labor to get another .

Suggestions

Suggestions and advice are very welcome. I have a hard time winning with this deck, and I don't know if it is because of my piloting of it or the deck structure.

Forgot to mention that if your strategy hinges on you scoring two particular 4/2 agendas, it's not going to be very consistent, because at this point you can just push for the win. I'd honestly ditch Private Security Force and probably Corporate Sales Team for ABTs and Vitruviuseses. This way you are going to have a back-up win condition and will be able to surprize your opponent by letting him think you are just another FA deck.

Also, you can totally BOOM the opponent with Midseasons+BOOM without any additional clicks. BOOM only eats one click to play and one as an additional cost, so the first click is to land Midseason Replacements, and if you manage to land 2+ tags you can BOOM right away with two remaining clicks.

Not sure what you mean in the tagging section about Midseason into BOOM! not being possible in a single turn...

This does look a lot better than the last deck. I'm not sure your ICE suite is where it needs to be; it seems like a lot of these shouldn't be 3x. I'd also take Fairchild 3.0 over Fairchild 2.0 as it's just a superior piece of ICE.

Two Data Ravens seems fine, and I'd reconsider your barriers. Getting one Heimdall 1.0 up is going to be a considerable drain on your resources for a barrier that can just be clicked through. I'd take 1. Vanilla would give you some rush capabilities, and the NEXT suite might be worth looking at here.

There's a lot to love here: I haven't seen the combination of Efficiency Committee plus Private Security Force before. That's very cool. It definitely gets my own deck builder's brain churning.

That said, it is also quite optimistic. In order for it to work you have to either:

  1. Start the turn with the runner with a handsize of 5, tagged, with a scored, unused Efficiency Committee, and a scored Security Force. Six click turn, five cards in hand, good game.
  2. Have both agendas scored and have some way to tag the runner on your turn + a way to give yourself an extra click.
  3. Have something like this, but a less cautious runner with less than 5 cards in hand, which makes your life easier.

The series of events that need to transpire for this to work are really just a perfect storm of events. If you are having problems winning this way, I am not surprised. It is important to always be conscious of pilot error, but truthfully, if this is your plan, you can't really know how much you can blame on the deck and how much you can blame on your play.

The Midseasons Boom plan is solid. But it also is a little unreliable in this deck: You have to have more money than the runner. They need to steal an agenda while you have more money. You need to have drawn both Midseasons and eventually Boom.

Thankfully, you CAN actually midseasons and boom in the same turn. First click Midseasons, second and third click boom. Not bad.

I suspect that you don't have enough in the deck. Your ice is very expensive to rez and just Adonis Campaigns (which a smart runner will probably trash if convenient), Blue Levels and Hedge Funds may not be enough to support it, especially if you want to rez your ice AND hit a Midseasons. Eighteen ice is an okay number for a glacier deck but with ice as big and beefy as the ice you have, you can certainly go lower.

The two biggest problems, I think, are:

  1. You are including two plans in your deck (three, if you count scoring agendas) and none of them is very well supported. It's great to have multiple plans of attack that you can change on the fly, but they need to be reliable plans if you want to reliably win!
  2. The economy is a little dodgy.

Still with me?

I absolutely love the idea of using Bifrost Array and 24/7 News Cycle to give yourself a bunch of extra clicks from Efficiency Committee. That's so cool. But there are a few things you could do to support that plan better:

  1. Give yourself more ways to benefit from having a bunch of clicks besides Private Security Force. You can use Shipment from SanSan to score out agendas (you aren't advancing the card, just placing advancements on it). You can use Zealous Judge to land a zillion tags if you can rez one when they pass a Data Raven. You could try something that turns clicks into money like Melange Mining Corp., Private Contracts, or Capital Investors to get rich. By all means please keep including Private Security Force in the deck, but don't count on it quite as much maybe?
  2. Give yourself more 24/7 support. Find influence for another one. Put Domestic Sleepers in the deck so you don't have to part with a precious real agenda.

Does that help at all? I can elaborate a little more on how you can better support the Boom! plan if that's what you are into.

Good luck!

For what it is worth, I strongly agree both with @FarCryFromHuman and @Shieldwall's suggestions.

Wow, thanks all!!

I will address all of your questions, concerns and suggestions. Thanks again.

I made a mistake in the write up. It is possible to Midseason + BOOM! in the same turn.

  1. @Shieldwall, I really like the idea of using Project Vitruvius...It's like a free Archived Memories, that does not count as a click, while being triggered by Bifrost Array. I tried Accelerated Beta Test in previous versions, and found it a bit unpredictable, especially with so many important operations in this deck ( even with Jackson Howard) . What do you think?
  2. @FarCryFromHuman, Good pointers on the ICE. Will implement them and get back to you.
  3. @Sanjay, Thanks a lot! Yeah, this deck is very exciting. So many possible ways to win.

I will implement Domestic Sleepers, Zealous Judge, Shipment from SanSan and some sort of to conversion. I was thinking Thomas Haas will be a good idea...It will work with Shipment from SanSan as well as double as a trap.

Once I tinker with the ICE and agenda / asset changes, I will get back to you all.

    Thanks,
    OneFabric

Once scored, using the ability of Accelerated Beta Test is not mandatory. Actually it is often played as a blank 3/2.

Shipment from SanSan on Thomas Haas? You have better ways to make money than using an "can be advanced" trap. If you really have too many , maybe try Melange Mining Corp..

@therealwarrior, Thank you for commenting! Yeah you're right, Thomas Haas is a lame idea.

@Shieldwall, @FarCryFromHuman, @Sanjay. Here is the current deck.

@FarCryFromHuman, Reduced my Data Ravens, removed Heimdall and took in Fairchild 3.0. Included a few vanillas as well.

@Sanjay, I included Zealous Judge and Shipment from Sansan. For some reason I feel going the Domestic Sleepers and an additional 24/7 News Cycle route may not be the best idea.

Could you please look at the current iteration and give me more input on the economy? I still feel it isn't as good, but am having trouble with not having enough slots / hitting the right spot of Assets, ICE, Operations and juggling with influence.
