Señor Taps is a crutch!

No Señor Taps!

Corp play generally has slowed down, so it is time for slower lock-type Runners to shine. This deck revisits the Spycam Hayley idea. While Bazaar has lost its counterpart in Replicator, we can still ensure that a good number of Spycams is always on the table thanks to the extra click from Beth Kilrain-Chang and the insane draw from Laguna Velasco District.

Shaper generally has quite a few trash cans itself in SMC, Sac Con, Same Old Thing, Political Operative and our newcomer DaVinci. We can even increase them by adding Sports Hopper and the Spycams to the mix, to get a whopping 15 Trashcans (16 with Feedback Filter...). Using 3 Tech Traders you can get insane amounts of instant speed money, which can be quite helpful against the current Reversed Accounts shenanigans meta. Also helpful, if you don't know how many credits you will need during a run. Just let one or two "Trash a program." subroutines fire and gain 3 credits with each of your Sac Cons if you need to!

If you run out of cards, just start it over again with Levy AR Lab Access. If you haven't found an appropriate time to fire your Same Old Thing yet, use it for a 2 credit Levy and keep on sieging on R&D with your spy cams and scoring remotes with your money machine. If you need to counter a rush strategy just install your rig at instant speed with SMC and Stimhack.

This deck has really good matchups against the current CI variants and glacier-type builds in general. Rush decks can mostly get to 5 points until you have a semblance of a rig online, so be agressive with your mulligan and try to find Laguna + Sure Gamble quickly.

If anyone knows what card to cut to get down to the magic 45 card mark, feel free to comment! :)

In a genuine r/showerthoughts moment I realized: -3 Daily Casts, +3 Technical Writers instantly fixes some tempo problems I had!

This deck looks fantastic and fun!

What is that art from? Mumbad I'm guessing from the devanagari on the wall, but I just can't place it.

It's the central card of the deck. Spy Cam! :)

HOW EMBARRASSING FOR ME

So I have been playing this deck since you played it against me. I didnt read your comment so I did not realize the change you had made so I am still playing with the three Daily Casts. However I did -1 Stimhack -1 Political Operative -1 Spy Camera, +3 Street Peddler. I did this to try and increase set up time and I like installing cards on the corps turn. I know sacrificing a Spy Camera is hard to do but I usually Levy AR Lab Access twice in a game so I feel like that makes up for it. It is doing surprisingly well and it is really fun to play! Thanks for the fun deck.

@Funkmj Hey, thanks for the feedback. I've been experimenting further as well and also did similar changes. Here's the new decklist if you want to compare :-)
