This is the azmari list that took me up to the tiebreaker at worlds '22 in Toronto. The weeks of testing in the run up revealed a couple of issues with the previous azmari lists

  1. Boat. is. everywhere. and can render a lot of powerful ice very untaxing if it gets a foothold, so we either need to counter the boat, go fast enough to not let it get set up or tax the runner's credits in another way

  2. Flatlining is very hit or miss right now, between stoneship, NFL and Misdirection landing 2 tags with the runner on less than 7 cards is challenging at best and near impossible to orchestrate in any tempo neutral way.

  3. As if boat wasn't challenging enough botulus can set the runner up to break your remote and stargated RND for pennies, and devil chisel can topple enough your mighty hydras for cheap, so we need a way to deal with hosted cards.

This led to the 3 key cards for this deck

A. Seamless Launch: this card gives you so much flexibility in your scoring pattern, being able to add extra ice to a remote install adv and present a scoring threat whilst reducing your commitment credit wise if it's a hydraSAM bait is huge. Other uses included a never advanced drago, bounce boat, and trash a key resource and the classic never advance 5/3 double seamless threat.

B: Public trail over hard hitting news: this pulls double duty in this deck, either giving a boat bounce on the same turn you play it or siphoning the runner for 8 credits (meaning install advance bellona for a seamless launch next turn is entirely doable). A lot of runner econ at the minute means that the runner will be on 8 by the time their turn starts, but not before the drip, letting you get the first word in tempo. It can also serve as a nice closer with backroom forcing them to float 16 credits less they get hit with PT PT Backroom

C: Magnet: stick this in front of your hydra and that botulus that has been ticking up is now only good as chip fuel, the runner has to slow down to get set up properly to tackle the remote, and you're just going to border control them anyways. Serves well as a first turn remote ice for your rashidas or quests as well.

This deck dropped a grand total of one game over the day to a runner that managed to establish a convincing lock and just couldn't be persuaded to go below 8 with the threats available. I'd recommend testing with NGOs over the DQs for a more bursty econ that lets you maintain that critical 4/6/10 cred threat for hydra rez or PT combos.

Worlds was amazing as always, huge shout out to the judge team for putting on a great event and bringing netrunner worlds back to the tabletops!
