Deck valid after First Rotation |
I've been working on this deck for a while and starting to have a lot of fun with it. Notice no restricted cards. Earlier versions of this deck ran Global Food Initiative but I wanted the influence elsewhere, and Hunter Seeker isn't nearly as useful without the Skorpios ability. I'm not a competitive player and this build has been pretty stable with a good win rate on jinteki.net, so I figured it was time to share.
Inspiration from emilyspine's Red Planet Curryhouse for the biotic/courier combo, from chaosjuggler's Reversed CI for the power of Reversed Accounts, from seamus's Loch Ness Monster for the idea of accessing multiple one-off's - although he used assets & I'm using operations.
I hope you find this deck fun, and welcome your feedback.
"Everybody's got their poison, and mine is sugar."
Install a GRNDL Refinery then next turn Dedication Ceremony + advance for 15 credits.
Big bucks Stinson + Hedge Fund / IPO early, or with help from Reversed Accounts / Closed Accounts, or after a draining run.
High-Risk Investment with two counters easily makes up for not being able to fire Bryan Stinson.
Late in the game Red Planet Couriers + Biotic Labor will score any agenda from hand, as long as you advanced some ice earlier through Priority Construction, maybe a Dedication Ceremony, or manually.
"Food for me has to pop, and at Spice Market, the food really pops."
A surprise Brainstorm will ruin a runner's day - even flatline them if they run with more than their hand limit. With an Armored Servers scored they will lose their hand even if they break it. Don't think of this as ice, think of it as a 9 credit ambush.
Score a Chronos Project, with or without help from a Biotic Labor. Done after the runner has trashed copies of Paperclip/Gordian Blade/MKUltra they might as well concede.
Tag them with Hard-Hitting News, a Priority Construction advanced Colossus or un-advanced Colossus + Prisec, then bag them with BOOM!. Even without the Boom, HHN + trashing key resources is a great tempo gain.
Bait a confident runner to run your scoring server by installing and advancing a Reversed Accounts or even a GRNDL Refinery. Even with all the runner tricks, they usually won't be able to successfully run a protected scoring server next turn also.
"Acting is not an important job in the scheme of things. Plumbing is."
Project Atlas counters, now guaranteed with Titan, will grab key operations. Either play the ops twice with Preemptive Action recycling or guarantee availability later with Daily Business Show. Much preferred to Consulting Visit which I found clogging my hand & advanced Hortum which never fires late game.
Taxing Ice. The ice is designed to be taxing, limiting the runner's ability to successfully run with the popular breakers today. If the runner doesn't have a bypass ability one barrier/code gate will let you rush to score once or twice. If they do, a two ice deep server will work until their rig is setup.
Daily Business Show is so powerful no matter what the situation I'm surprised more runners don't trash it. In most cases if I think it may get trashed I'd rather ice this server than HQ/Archives.
Scarcity of Resources early or to protect against Employee Strike when setting up for a score.

This is so cool.
If you have two counters on Armored Servers, can you use both so the runner will have to pay 2 cards per sub (effectively forcing him to eat the Brainstorm with no breaking at all)?
