Advanced Biotic Friends - SC Winner
I used this deck in two SC in Arizona this year, making it to the top 4 the two times. The first time I ended up 3rd and then on January 21 I won the SC in Desert Sky games.
The idea of the deck is simple: Score 7 points before the runner has the tools he needs to stop you from scoring. To do so, the deck has some tools to aid you to install stuff without spending clicks, in your turn and in the corp's turn, giving you extra money as well, thanks to Advanced Assembly Lines
The agendas are pretty standard for HB, a mix of quick, easy to fast advance ones and the always useful GFI and a single Corporate Sales Team that can be a real economy asset if you score it soon in the game.
The ice suite is the best I could manage using 2 pieces of ice that are in the MWL. It includes a lot of ETR and some punishing ice to add some spice to the mix. Vanilla is always a nice option, specially when u are still able to protect a server after a Siphon. Cobra made several nice appearances when less expected as well.
Our main fast advance tools are the famous SanSan City Grid combined with Biotic Labor and Lateral Growth helps us get some more money while installing an agenda, asset or Upgrade. I also have a single Archived Memories to recover a biotic or a Friends in High Places. Those friends make this deck so good.
Imagine you install your SanSan City Grid and a Jeeves Model Bioroids but the runner trashes both. No problem, as our Friends will reinstall them from archives in a single click. But the best is to reinstall one Advanced Assembly Lines to get some money and install even more cards from hand without spending clicks. We have a lot of recursion between the almighty Jackson Howard Team Sponsorship the Archived Memories and our dear Friends. This means that even Whizzard will struggle to keep your assets out of the game.
Suisse matchups:
Hyperdriver Kate (win): As I said, the deck is fast enough to score 7 points quickly if u get the right cards, which is what happened. I won a turn before he could execute his combo.
Jesminder (win): My rival had a good pressure deck, using Jes's ability to avoid tags in his favor but I could score using the windows when his economy wasn't great.
Kate (loss): He got a great start and got his rig quite soon in the game, making it hard to get score windows. Still, I had the upper hand until a very well placed Indexing closed the deal.
Whizzard (win): My rival conceded after losing to my runner and seeing that he didn't have any option to get into the top.
Top 4:
Whizzard (win): Whizzard found it very difficult to trash all my assets and get his rig ready, so I kept spamming assets thanks to my recursion cards while building and ended up scoring without trouble.
Final against Hyperdriver Kate (loss): This time I lost to the combo, I had the cards needed to score the winning agenda in hand but I needed another turn! Fortunately my runner deck won against his combo NEH, winning me the SC

Looking at the deck now and considering the results I think we could get rid of the single Archived Memories and probably Cyberdex Virus Suite since only one copy is not a big difference against a virus oriented runner, or one of the Jeeves Model Bioroids considering we can recur them easily. If you try it, let me know what you think, it can always be improved. Hope you enjoy playing :) |
what would you swap to get in some Enhanced Login Protocol?
