The purpose of this deck is simple, you don't have to run often but when you run you have to be effective. So in the early game you could do some naked run to test the Corp's defence and you have to build your economy with Kati Jones or/and with Desperado plus Security Testing. To be sure to steal some agendas very important cards are Indexing and Legwork that with the ability of Leela Patel: Trained Pragmatist allow you to weaken one of the central server: the most effective is the R&D where you can close the game using Medium but also the combination of Sneakdoor Beta and HQ Interface is good. This is why i called it Knockout Punches, Leela seems to be a boxer and this deck can suddenly put the Corp K.O. like in a boxing match.
Mr. Li is a key card to do a deeper draft in order to achieve Medium or Sneakdoor Beta or Kati Jones.
Crescentus and Emergency Shutdown allow you to derez some ugly ice interacting with the ability of Leela.
As icebrakers i chose the most effective ones taking into account the influence, so finally Criminals have a good decoder with Cerberus "Rex" H2 even if it's the weakest of the three Cerberus. I put three of them and two Faerie that i can recycle with Clone Chip if necessary.
Concluding, this deck gave me a lot of satisfaction, i lost very few matches. Another version of this deck could include Logos instead of Desperado to be sure to achieve sooner important cards like Indexing, Medium or Sneakdoor Beta. However sometimes when the Corp score the first agenda is just too late, so for now i keep it like this.
I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks for your comment. About Crescentus i kept it because usually when the Corp sees that you're a Criminal it covers the HQ very well and it's not easy to make a successful run there. I play only one Sneakdoor Beta because i use it more like a closing card than a middle game card, So it's easier to break a subroutine of an ice than to run on HQ. I keep both Emergency Shutdown and Crescentus to use better the ability of Leela. About the event recursion in a new version of this deck i replaced 1 Account Siphon with 1 Same Old Thing. About Clone Chip and Déjà Vu i chose the first because it gives me more options during a run and i can save 1 click, but also your point of view is interesting. My real doubt as I said it's about the console: Logos or Desperado? I have a lot of 1x cards that i could more easily search with Logos, but Desperado is a lot of economy. |
I feel like you would be better off with 3x Emergency Shutdown and 2x Crescentus, especially if you play Sneakdoor Beta. I might even crescentus out entirely in order to add another HQ Interface and a second Sneakdoor Beta, but that's just my own taste. If you are having success with Crescentus, keep it!
One last thing: I feel always sad when I import 4+ influence points of events without including same old thing or some kind of event recursion. If it's worth that many influence points, it's worth playing ad nauseam! You may want to do -2 Clone Chip +2 Déjà Vu, which will give you more options (you do lose the insta-install, though).
