Transformer MK II (2x Top 8 Regionals)

Xavier 559

Well I attended 3 regionals this year (placing top 8 at at all 3) however only taking this deck to 2 of them. With regional season now over for me I might as well share the list.

Total Regional Record 9-4-1 (W/L/T)

This deck really wants to stick a melange, while at the same time making sure to take advantage of the early clicks to try and score an agenda. Ice placement is very important and is determined by each individual matchup. While you can score through never advance I've found over advancing PV or even install advancing an ABT is often the better play.

Happy playing, its a pretty straightforward deck while at the same time has many small decisions that take practice to figure them all out.

Order of Play Rush->Glacier->FA/Psi

Hey, congrats on the solid results! I played an older version you posted, had a lot of fun with it. Can you talk about Lab Dog a bit? Not a card I've seen much of since it came out, was wondering what the reason was for it's include (and 3 of status). Cheers

@Angedelo Thanks, and I absolutely can talk about Lab Dog. When I first started testing it I only included 1 I believe. However every time I saw it I was happy to see it and I was able to get it to fire. So it slowly increased in numbers to the point where I wanted to see it all the time! There will be those games where you end up not playing them due to the amount of hardware the runner has and how little it will impact them, yet against criminal/anarch almost every hardware is good to be rid of (especially if it's their console). The only times I didn't like seeing the dog were late games vs PPvP Kate who had tons of money and the most probable thing it would get rid of is a voicepad. However early game vs her I would happily be rid of a voice pad. I hope that helps a little bit, they can really set back a runner removing their console or interfaces.

I love that you've had so much success with Lab Dog. That card is hilariously fun.

@Giles Clicks gained by Effiency committee can not be spend to advance cards, but you can use card effects to put advancement tokens on a card, which is not the same as advancing.

So you can install betatest, advance once, gain clicks by committee and use shipment from sansan.

He is absolutely right it's there for the ability to FA. I big thing I like about this deck is the ability to adapt and change your scoring avenues. It also fulfills the role of another econ card (serving two purposes).

Future iterations of the deck may in fact remove all FA tools and go straight to a rush/glacier (Caprice is OP) however like I said earlier I like having options.
