Dec@Day.04 - By Hook or By Crook

WizardOfWinter 24

Dec@Day - Every identity, one day and deck at a time. It's like NaNoWriMo for Netrunner! More info in my profile.

Oh, Gabe...like most decks using our professional here, the goal is to hit hard in the early game and (hopefully) never let the Corp recover. Knight and Faerie takes the sting out of those early-game Sentries, and Deus X even lets us face-check Jinteki without too much worry. A Grappling Hook and Overmind also give Gabe breathing room against the more formidiable ice, especially with e3 Feedback Implants in play.

Run early, run often. Land as many Account Siphons as you can, and force the Corp to double or triple ICE its remotes with the threat of Inside Job. Emergency Shutdown the scary ICE once you've Grappling Hooked through it, and use Clone Chip and Special Order to make sure you always have the right Icebreaker handy.

This is definitely one of the more...interesting...decks I've played, and while it's not the most consistent beast, it certainly is fun to live life on the edge. I'm sure that's exactly what Gabe would want anyway. :)

Suggestions, critiques or comments? Feel free--the entire reason I'm doing this is to build my deckbuilding skills. Special thanks to umbalAeronaut for his incredibly insightful comment on yesterday's Jinteki deck, and stop by tomorrow for my attempt to build a non-Fast-Advance NBN deck.
