[Eclipse] The Pharmacist Labelled My Prescription "Keeling"

... and let's just say I took that to heart.

A prescription bag with "Keeling" written on it

Anyway, eclipse! When I saw the event I decided that I wanted to play something way out of my comfort zone and go true sicko. So I brought this asset/kill/chokehold Chronos deck and a headlock Reina. This deck went 2-1, beating two Geist and losing only to a Whizzard with Salsette Slums and Magnum Opus that slowly took apart any chance of winning*. Maybe a better assets player would have found a way out, but I instead felt the most hopeless I've felt in a while. Ah well.

This deck aims to overwhelm the runner with untrashable assets via the centerpieces of the deck - Hostile Architecture and Hostile Infrastructure. Combined with the pressure of Bladderwort threatening to take the best cards out of their hand via Chronos, there's a lot of must-trash assets. We can also hide and never advance agendas like Viral Weaponisation through Wage Workers and Cohort Guidance Program. Finally, Moon Pool acts as a finisher and can easily score out a 4/2.

Genetics Pavillion gets a shout out in particular for being awful to trash and forcing the runner into having very few cards in hand with Viral Weaponisation. It also makes Levy much worse, drawing 0-2 cards instead of 5.

Finally, we have a few ice to protect centrals and potentially score out behind - Yagura is stellar for centrals, and we have a few big ice for last minute protection. This is especially useful if you snipe breakers from hand with Chronos.

Thanks to Council for running and creating a wild format that was fun to theorycraft for!

* EDIT: I published this and then immediately realised I should have run Sadaka this would have made the matchup so much better I am a fool
