I would like to say "with this deck I won many tournaments", but the truth is that with this deck I've only made a couple of top 5, one third and one second place this year. For me, however, Jinteki: Personal Evolution remains an identity with a great potential, specially played as a Glacier, although it isn't usually played as that. This deck, since the beginning of the Lunar Cycle, gave me a lot of satisfaction, mostly because it's entirely my creation. Let me describe it.
With 14 agendas and the powerful effect of the ID, plus 3 Snare!, 3 Shock! and 3 Fetal AI, the deck protects itself from R&D or HQ multiaccess. Tax the runner with classical ICE like Eli 1.0 in the central servers and begin to build your remote with powerful sentries like Archer (you have a lot of disposable 1-point agendas) or Komainu.
Your priority is score the Gila Hands Arcology, because it's your basic economy, then let the runner wastes his or her money and cards in the grip for other, useless 1-point agendas. Most of the games I've played with this deck end with the runner with no cards remained in the stack. Chronos Project is very usefull against Shaper and Anarch.
Protect your Jackson Howard if you can, because with Shock! you can easily control the run in archives, then protect some agendas in there.
Threat the runner with unexpected Scorched Earth or control his or her economy with a very understimated card, Cerebral Cast: if the runner takes the tag, scorch him or destroy his precious resources; if he takes the brain damage, your victory is near.
Score your 1-point agendas in your ultrataxing remote, and rez Archer only when you can use its full effect (because is an unexpected ICE in this deck). Philotic Entanglement has never been so dangerous before as in a deck with 14 agendas!
Finally, I can ensure that this deck is very strong against Anarchs and non-Leela Criminals decks. Against Shapers, you have to rush agendas as quickly as possible!
Thanks for your interest. Feedbacks are welcome! :)

Hi DrMarodi and thanks for this question! Trust me, film critic is the last of your problems! You have a lot of agendas, if the runners spends 2 for each agenda for avoiding the net damages, you can easily score other and more useful agendas in your remote. As you said, he threat only Fetal AI or the The Future Perfect, but remember that you can easily tag the runner with Cerebral Cast and trash the critic! |

Hey there. I always like seeing evolved creations of decks people have started off with and moulded over time. Scorched Earth in Jinteki kill-decks is no longer unexpected, many people have been utilising the Scorch to capitolise on Snare!s, so, have you considered Hardware trashing ambushes? Also, love the inclusion of Archer. |

Hi Mechanoise and thanks for your comment! You are right, now Scorched Earth is no longer unexpected, but when I'm starting to play the 1.0 version of this deck, I was the only player I've ever met here in Italy playing that card in Jinteki: Personal Evolution (I've created this deck on june 2014, and the previous version included 2 copies of Scorched Earth instead of Jackson Howard and the mono Wraparound XD). Hardwares are not so important against this deck (exept Logos); if the runner plays a Plascrete Carapace, then I discard the Scorched Earth and I move in other directions: forcing the runner to play a Plascrete Carapace is worth the effort! (1 useless card installed by the runner and 1 less card in his grip)... |

With 3 cerebral casts and 3 snares I'd personally go double scorch and free up the influence by dropping the elis and wraparound - I know they're really good but there are influence free options available. Bako is good binary ICE for your destroyers and pup is an excellent taxing ICE. Both are also dirt cheap too so you can easily rez them and have your snare creds. Yagura is also a workhorse in Jinteki PE and it's only a cred to rez too |

Thanks DGB123 for your advice! I've made that choice only for one reason: the limited slots in the deck. Unfortunately, if I spend influence for non-ICE things, I haven't enough space for Cerebral Cast and pther useful tools. I'm forced to spend influence in ICE, because in this deck you need at least 15-16 ICE to built your remote and protect the central servers. As I said, the first version of the deck included double Scorched Earth, but I found tha Jackson Howard is too important in every deck XD. PS: The Wraparound is a meta choice and is optional! |
How much of threat Film Critic is to this deck? Snatching Fetal AI-s could be very hurtful as I experienced.
