Call NAPD 22.10 [Berlin StartUp CO Oct-2022 8th]

I played this corp deck in a Startup CO celebrated in Berlin in October 2022. It gave me 2 wins and 2 loses. The wins against Padma and Sable, and the loses against another Padma and one Esâ. Most of the games were quite close, and I had quite fun games with this deck. I played with Kit as runner.

This deck is basically The Implication, with two main changes:

• I didn't want to rely on flatlining the runner, the "fear effect" on advanced unrezzed cards is already given by the meta. So after removing Clearinghouse and Urtica Cipher, I had influence to put another Mitosis and one Retribution. Doubling down on tags I also included a couple of Chekist Scion and one Backroom Machinations. The Chekist still gives some trappy effects.
• I changed the agendas, including Offworld Office for tempo, and Project Beale for easier advancement and possible occasional 5/3s. Cyberdex Sandbox could have been great too, given also that Imp is quite punishing for this deck.

I am happy with the changes, as the deck is quite fun and calls for interaction, but you probably want the third Predictive Planogram and the third Vladisibirsk City Grid, to find more scoring opportunities, something I missed sometimes during the tournament.

I think I could have piloted it better, on some games I was too defensive on centrals, but this deck gets the most by making the runner to take difficult decissions on the remotes. NAPD Cordon is key to create scoring situations, Mitosis amplifies it in some cases, but the NAPD is the key, and I think I should have played it more actively instead of waiting for better situations to combine both.

Despite the mixed results, I am quite happy with the deck, I had quite fun games with it and I think it could be further explored. Of course this wouldn't have been possible without my great oponents and 114141 for organizing the event :) Thanks!
