Running on Fumes

Walker Net Ranger 139

First Adam draft.

I like Adam's faction cards and wanted to utilize them with his ID. Multithreader, Independent Thinking, Dr. Lovegood have synergies with the cards I put. Still wishing for Faust, E3. Considering Daily Casts.

In my mind, you cut the Datasuckers, Grifters and one Scrubber to make space for 3 e3 Feedback Implants. They are insanely powerful in Adam, forcing the corp to double-ICE EVERY SERVER if they want to keep you out. Don't worry about not being able to Mimic ICE; you can click it if it's bad ^^

@pang4 this seems correct. Is 3x too much, is 2x sufficient? Most decks such as Quetzal I see with E3 runit as a 2x but... That ABR is certainly a focal point here (even running backup copies). I think I will try it 3x. Thanks for the input!

I'm not the most experienced player, but I've sunk a lot of time into playing a deck with Adam that leverages Brain Chip and some Dyson Mem Chip to run Sage and Overmind as my main non-Always Be Running breakers.

You have three Drug Dealer, John Masanori, and your natural draw ability from Safety First as well as Symmetrical Visage. That's five card slots dedicated to something that you'll be doing anyway from turn 1 and something that may have you chucking lots of cards in the trash if you can't afford them because you encountered that SanSan City Grid in HQ and are out of credits.

Personally I like Kati Jones because she encourages me to plan around using her and I can't do so for more than one click. Often if I'm breaking things I don't have the clicks to make something like Armitage Codebusting worthwhile. Haven't tried playing with it but the way I play that would always end up with credits left on it. Daily Casts is better, but you may find it just gets eaten up by your Drug Dealer.

@inniscor that sounds like an interesting build with Sage, I like it! I think you're right about Symmetrical Visage and John Mas., Kati. And keeping the SanSan scenario in mind, I like staying at 3x Scrubbers since I must trash all (first) accesses each turn. Here's what I'm thinking:

-1 SymVis, -1 John Mas, -1 Drug Dealer, -2 Datasuckers, -3 Grifter. +3 E3, +1 Kati, +1 Brain Cage, +3 Daily Casts.

I'll have to test and see how the Armitage works, it seems like an easy way to keep 2 creds for using E3 next turn, or installing almost anything in this deck at cost 1-2. I think that once Lovegood hits the table, he can mitigate the Drug dealer downside most turns. And I can Independent Think them away if I don't need their draw anymore as well.

Thanks again for the input!
