I'm currently running this card out of GRNDL: Power Unleashed, and I've got to say it's way more powerful than I thought it would be.

The Perks
• Trash cost is a whopping $6, so even Whizzard: Master Gamer will hesitate to break it
• Trickles in at least $1 per turn, and double that with proper support

The Weaknesses
• Provides bad pub, which is always risky because it helps the runner ruin your plans

How to Use It
What this does is punish runners who don't want to run. In an age of Nexus Kate, there's a lot of games starting with what amounts to solitaire for the first 10 turns. That's where cards like this shine, because the runner must average at least 1 run per turn to come out even against this card (and they must average 2 runs per turn to do the same if you're keeping them tagged). Most runners can't sustain that... especially if you're running a bunch of dangerous bad pub ice in your suite.

Combine this with some solid taxing ice that can easily outscale bad pub (looking at you, Ireress and Swarm) and you've got yourself some actual economy. And, of course, you could always package this with Elizabeth Mills or similar to undo the bad pub if you don't want to go all-in on that strategy.

I don't think Whizzard will hesitate to trash this, cause he will have to pay at most $2 from his pocket, other part being paid by his ID and BP this card gives you. Otherwise, it's cost is quite prohibitive, unless runner packs Imp or Demorun. Pair this with Broadcast Square for lulz. —

This card is in my Blue Sun: Powering the Future deck and I adore it. Toss it into your deck along with a few Back Channels to recall it if the traps aren't sprung, and you've got it made.

Here's what I use it with:

Project Junebug - 6 net damage is usually a KO right there
Contract Killer - Juiced up and ready to go next turn if you need it
Vanity Project - If they don't run it, you've got 4 points. If they do, Punitive Counterstrike them.
GRNDL Refinery - If they don't run it, you've just made a ton of money

If the MWL succeeds in reducing the number of Clone Chips running around, I'll likely test this out with Aggressive Secretary, as well. Fun card, great out of Weyland. Give it a try!

Since it says that you cannot rez the card until your next turn, doesn't that mean that you wouldn't be able to rez the Junebug and do damage if the runner ran on it right away? —
Noise6 - Junebug is an ambush and so doesn’t need to be rezzed - just accessed. —

Whenever I play Criminal, I spend at least one turn (and usually many more than that) looking at a hand of 5 cards, all of which I want to keep and none of which I want to play yet. This solves the problem of having to decide whether to risk trashing your Legwork, Inside Job, or Account Siphon when you're fishing for a breaker or some economy by storing the cards you're looking for in a fairly safe location: your stack.

Of course, there's also the pipe dream: using this thing to Eureka! a Blackguard into play... hey, gotta dream, right?

While I agree with the previous review's premise that this is an economic warfare card, I'm not certain it absolutely requires a horizontal playstyle to be effective. It certainly helps protect your PAD Campaigns and Adonis Campaigns and the like, but where it really shines is protecting cards you might otherwise consider one-shot agenda protectors. Getting a couple of these down can quickly make your scoring server's Ash 2X3ZB9CY and/or Red Herrings nigh untrashable -- if you're running either (or both!) of those cards out of HB, I'd strongly urge you to at least give it a try. The difference 1, 2, or 3 credits makes to the trash cost is incredible.

I really like this card for all of my decks that A) use a lot of assets/upgrades and B) try to get an econ advantage over the runner. Put this behind something simple like a Pop-Up for more tax; meanwhile a Tollbooth guards a Caprise/Ash and NAPD in the scoring server. —

I always love to see power counter cards, because I feel like we need a few more to make the strategy viable. This card may have a place when paired with Helium-3 Deposit, IT Department, and Data Raven. You could also include Snoop or Viktor 2.0, but it's probably not a good idea to put too many eggs into the power counter basket just yet.

It's a neutral card with no influence cost. It's in-faction for everyone, silly. —
Bwahahah you're correct! Apparently my brain flags anything with a greenish tint as "Weyland". Womp womp. I'm still a fan of more power counter synergy, though! —
I thought this would be a great R&D protection. It costs more every time you go through it! But it usually gets Parasited as soon as it is rezzed. —
I don't think I'd mind having this Parasited. It's just an ETR piece of ice, and that means there's one less Parasite for the damaging stuff :) —
