Description

Original deck notes:

Meta Read:

There is not a lot of tag punishment going around these days, in part because NBN isn’t seeing much play, and the other corps don’t have a lot of good ways to deal tags and then punish them. Specifically, this deck works on the assumption that you can float 1 tag at the end of your turn with reasonable safety, and that you can navigate the situations where this is not the case.

Engine:

This deck has an engine, with some parts being more core, and some more peripheral and interchangeable throughout the game.

The core:

  • Solidarity Badge: We want to fuel this, as it generates 1click 2credits worth of value on trash, which is more than Consume does.

Amanuensis: Our draw engine. Generate value taking tags, then draw with Amanuensis. Tsakhia "Bankhar" Gantulga: Our early to mid-game “breaker”, bankhar helps us mitigate rush builds like PD while creating windows to land Hot Pursuits. Our Solid Badge / Amanuensis engine fuels our Bankhar exploits, while drawing into further pieces. Lago: The other grinder card, Lago digs us deeper into our deck and is draw that isn’t conditional on floating tags.

Anarch Trash Package:

Steelskin Scarring, Strike Fund, Moshing, The Price:

Accelerates our starts and helps establish our board state.

On the deck logic:

We’re not really interested in winning the game, moreso trying to make it impossible for the corp to win the game by taking away their win conditions and wrestling them into submission.

Imp, Crew, Miss Bones - are all ways to trash cards to fuel Solid Badge.

High Impact Events:

Hot Pursuit: Really good econ. Landing this early makes our game a lot easier. Praxis: THE BEST CARD IN THE DECK. Praxis wins games. We use it to recur resources and, once we hit threat 3, high value programs. Some of the best recursion targets are:

Event (24) 1x Ashen Epilogue ●●: Is here to refuel our Bankhar-based breaker package. 2x LR and Praxis for DJ Steve means we can usually get it back when we need it. Doesn’t get played every game, but means we win the long game, which is our gameplan - run the corp out of avenues to win. 3x Hot Pursuit ●●●●● ● Massive cash injection + Seb trigger. Landing these early can catapult your tempo from which the corp can’t recover. Use our breaker package (Bankhar, Crew, Botulus) to make it land, but try to be relatively careful and precise about when you go for Hot Pursuit. 2x Labor Rights …has 2 use cases. One is to bring back the Ashen Epilogue, playing 2 to guarantee getting one back with DJ Steve. The other is to recur high-impact cards such as Praxis, Hot Pursuit and whatever the occasion calls for (often ways to deal with ice like Crew and Botulus). 3x Moshing High-speed acceleration. You know it, you love it, Orange Level Clearance is great and much of the reason we can play a 55+ card size deck. 3x Privileged Access The best card in the deck. Praxis turns on from the midgame onwards, but the threat 3 is also really good. Recurs everything, highest value recursal targets often being DJ Steve and Crew. Also gets back Aumakua, Botulus, Physarum, Imps (don’t forget to overinstall empty Imps for later). Generates absurd amounts of value and tempo. Another reason we want to go through our deck at high velocity. 3x Raindrops Cut Stone Great with Bankhar, also just generally good to come back from low credit totals, and great for board states that call for early contesting. 3x Steelskin Scarring 3x Strike Fund You know ‘em, you love ‘em. I find myself playing Strike Fund from hand at times, sometimes we need to bounce back from low credit totals. 3x The Price Another high value anarch event, generally fine to play whenever (barring the very lategame). Hardware (7) 3x Amanuensis One part of our draw engine. Amanuensis refuels us for floating tags. 3x Solidarity Badge The other part. Drips for one click two credits -> 2 cards at the start of turn, +1 credit with Valentina too. Trashes are enabled by Imps, Crew, and accessing trashables.

1x Devil Charm An experiment to make glacier MUs like AGInfusion more manageable. Needs more testing, Hardware are the one card type we cannot recur easily. Resource (17) 3x Arruaceiras Crew Our nr.1 way of dealing with ice. Tricks include flipping one Crew into a 2nd copy. Don’t be too afraid of floating multiple tags in most MUs if it means trashing ice. High priority recursion target. 1x DJ Fenris ● Incredible card. We try to get a trigger most turns where possible. Corps will try to trash this card, so be ready by recurring Praxis to recur DJ to recur Praxis to…well you see where this goes. Corp can’t keep trashing your resources indefinitely, especially when you’re imping them all the while. 2x Friend of a Friend Good econ card. Still an econ card at the end of the day, and I’m happy with my econ, which is why I didn’t go up to 3x. Might be good to do so tho. #slots 1x Hannah "Wheels" Pilintra Equally good card to enable contests, especially when paired with Praxis. Same reasoning as above as to why only 1x - plus she is unique so I don’t want too many copies. 1x Jarogniew Mercs Excellent tech. Shuts down EotL as a wincon, insulates us against Punitive all the while. Good Praxis target in the right MU. Otherwise feel free to pitch, or take a value seb triggering tag if it matters to turn on our draw engine. 3x Lago Paranoá Shelter Amazing card (and I say this as a certified grinder hater) ;) So, so good. The games where you open with Lago early are usually your better games. Still, we need a critical mass of cards, maybe 54+, to make Lago worthwhile. I often stop firing this when my deck reaches about 12 cards, ymmv. 1x Manuel Lattes de Moura Our multiaccess “wincon” to make corp struggle. Really mostly finds us more Imp accesses to give us more choice as to what to trash. Potentially a bad install in some MUs where you prefer single accesses, ex. Aagainst decks with Snare or Behold. 1x Miss Bones ●● Great money for trashing assets. Has gone in and out of the deck a couple times, Scrubber could in theory make a good MB impression, but we’ve never actually slotted Scrubber. 3x Tsakhia "Bankhar" Gantulga Another cornerstone of the deck. Bankhar helps us contest early, and trashing all the bankhars is a rough proposition for corps quite often. Still, try to stay tagged less in the early game if Bankhar threat is important, ex. Against Asa or PD. Once the midgame hits and your other “””breakers””” come online we can float tags more easily. 1x Valentina Ferreira Carvalho Another econ card of choice, I like Valentina. You could make a case for the 3rd FoaF (aka Friendo or Friend²) over Valentina, but I actually like what she can do, ex. To clear a praxis tag via install from hand to praxis again clicklessly. So kind of a middle group between hannah and FoaF. Icebreaker (1) 1x Aumakua ● Curiously I think of Aumakua as a backup breaker in this deck. Sometimes corp has a lot of ice and we can’t trash all of it, Aumakua helps break the low str ice instead of having to Crew it. Program (9) 3x Botulus Similarly, Botulus helps us prevent lockout by going on problem ice. It being recurrable by Praxis helps a lot in some instances too. Use Botulus to contest the remote early on, and otherwise on HQ or Archives to land your high impact run events or keep HQ open. 3x Imp Our engine fuel. Imp takes away corp cards in a surgical manner, and in some MUs can also make us not! Steal agendas which can be very helpful. Remember to overinstall empty imps so you can Praxis them back later. 2x Leech Fuels Crew and Aumakua. 1 is good, a 2nd one is often a fine install tho. 1x Physarum Entangler ●●● Curbs some ice really well and helps us contest early pushes, also a good Praxis target later on. I can see the 3 inf going to something more impactful potentially tho.

What to mull for:

Matchup Dependent, but as a general rule:

Lago Paranoa Shelter Moshing + [Strike Fund / Steelskin Scarring] Bankhar … +[Raindrops Cut Stone] . Hot Pursuit . The Price . Amanuensis Solidarity Badge
