Theater of the Absurd 2.0

I have been playing a version of this deck for pretty much 6 weeks. There was an older version I developed right around the time of worlds. The basic play style is to multi install cards. Use Franchise City to get points. Use Offer you can't refuse primarily to land a tag if they decline (using Thoth or IP block) to exchange. With a lot of decks relying on multi-access in our meta it seemed that Haarpsichord was a decent counter. This deck was piloted to 2nd place out 14 at Math N Stuff and 4th place out of 20 at Meeples. It is a fun see saw approach to the game as agendas are being stolen or scored very frequently.

Love the deck! I'm going to try it this week. Can you address ICE placement..... Do you feel like you have enough ICE (9 total) to ICE up the 3 centrals in a way that's taxing? Are all your remote servers un-ICED. Where do you place your few pieces of ICE?

I played your deck a few times, and I lost each game due to lack of money. I found most turns being click 3x for cred. Any play tips? Did you have any econ problems? I'm thinking of taking some things out for things like PAD Campaign and other asset money makers.

I also noticed that alot of the cards in the deck try to tag a runner. Is the goal to actually have tags stick, or to hopefully make them waste clicks/creds removing them. Cause the only tag-benefit I noticed is Exchange of Information, which I was never able to play because players run clicks 1-2, and always clear their tags.

tags create a tempo loss and enable EoI off Sea Source, for example ...

`@Fl3xbyts’ Basically if you are facing AI or otherwise put IP Block or Thoth on archives. That is your offer you can’t refuse server. You need/want 11 credits Offer and EOI in hand and a GFI in runners score area. If you have a franchise installed you also want 3 credits to Rez it if there is an agenda in archives. Basically multi install agendas and franchises. Rez franchise after successful declared if they hit an agenda. Score the other agenda they don’t steal. Data Raven you want at least one on a remote for QPM shenanigans. Don’t put data raven on your offer server as it nonbos with offer.

@Fl3xbytshmm not sure if this might end up being a double post... But my comment did not survive the NRDB environment. You want to put Thoth and/or IP Block (if they have AI installed) on your offer you can't refuse server. I target archives for that. You can dump news teams there. Early game you want to try to get some ice installed, again probably you are saving Thoth for archives. You want at least one data raven for a remote for QPM shenanigans. The solo gutenberg for R&D and the rest of the ice whereever. Often I have very few iced remotes. All depends on game state. You generally want to multi-install. TGTBT, 15 mins and franchise would be ideal. When they run one of the remotes, after successful declared rez the franchise city. Hopefully they hit the 15 mins. You get a point, they get a point. Then score out TGTBT on your turn for example. Click to return 15 mins later. As for combo, you want a 1 pointer in your score area, 11 credits and thoth on archives, either a GFI in archives or in runner's score area, and EOI in hand. You can also offer and not rez if there is a TGTBT in archives. This will be typically midgame or late game. Then offer the archives. If they accept offer, rez thoth for example to force tag. Then EOI. You can also Sea or HHN and EOI. @Tolaasinis right that a lot of it is tempo hitting. They can only steal 1 agenda and they have to clear tags. On multiaccess, sometimes they will hit Snare! or TGTBT and take tags they did not expect taking.

Thank you @Sedatedfork for taking the time to explain the strategy behind the deck. I'll try to pilot it as you shared. :)

Snare! tags and can help protect centrals. Often not a bad card to multi-install either. Feel free to go a different direction if you want.
