A most aggressive startup shaper, with no boat!

Mulligan plan : Basilar Synthgland 2KVJ or econ in the starting hand.

Game plan : Nothing is safe from you and Deep Dive to win.

We aim to setup as quickly as possible, with our winning conditions.

Yes, sometime you get to install 2x Buzzsaw on the board, that is a risk we are taking to setup faster. On top of using Into the Depths and Spark of Inspiration to setup, we draw through our deck really fast.

Basilar Synthgland 2KVJ is core to the deck. Being able to do a Deep Dive where you can see two cards is huge.

Earlier iterations had Endurance. It is a good card, but by choosing not to use it, we get to rid ourselves of Rigging Up also, freeing about 6 cards slots. This allowed me to put more draw power in the deck.

Hippocampic Mechanocytes was also tested with this deck. But it is a tempo loss for us and we have a lot of protection from End of the Line with No Free Lunch and Stoneship Chart Room.

Unfortunately, using Basilar Synthgland 2KVJ means that Ontological Dependence and Blood in the Water are much easier to score.

You only need one K2CP Turbine. While possible, encountering Bran or Pharos is actually rare and both ices would cost the corp a lot! Pharos would really stop you, but Bran would cost you 4 to break, which is not too bad.

Hey diogene. I didn't realize I was playing against you using your deck last night until after our game! Good game and very fun deck. I enjoy it so much that I was trying to build a standard version using PPVP and events, especially spark, and one each of the key breakers.... with mixed success.

@grudd. In Standard, you will want to add Beth Kilrain-Chang.

If you also want to put in Misdirection, I suggest that you exchange Spark of Inspiration and Stoneship Chart Room for Overclock and Self-modifying Code. Because when Spark of Inspiration fetch you Misdirection, it feel like you overpaid. Of note, you do not need to have Misdirection.

For gaining credits, Daily Casts is part of Standard and is a pretty good economy card.

Of note, with 20+ events, I would suggest that you put in Mystic Maemi, instead of Liberated Account. It is a really good economy card for an event based deck.

Lastly, I would suggest that you replace Cleaver by Paperclip. Because it is easy to trash and then you can install it only at the late game, when everything is double iced.

@Diogene Cool. That's some good input. I was using engolo, which when paired with turbine can be effective late into the game, and the Spark of Inspiration discount pretty often feels good. I've faced enough tag punishment to be thinking misdirection, which probably changes the whole means of tutoring. Thanks!

I really like how aggressive this deck is but I seem to lose a lot. I think the hardest part for me is when to use Basilar Synthgland because it becomes really easy to get flatlined versus decks that have net/core damage. Feels good to play though I think I just need more practice

@lejeune, That is correct. We need an additional click to make Deep Dive better, and there are only Basilar Synthgland 2KVJ and Running Hot for this.

If you find your self facing load of Thule Subsea: Safety Below and Jinteki: Personal Evolution, you could replace the Basilar Synthgland 2KVJ and Deep Dive by The Maker's Eye and anything else (you could find space for Conduit or Docklands Pass).
