Sana Sana - 16th @ APAC 2023

There's one thing I enjoy way more than winning, and that's winning with style.

Let's be real, this deck didn't do amazing or anything, but I stand by some of the deckbuilding choices I made considering nobody was certain about what the APAC meta was gonna look like. This was my first time approaching a big tournament with the Unband crew and we expected fast decks, but I still wanted to do fine in slower matchups where you don't get to run too much and still have a game when there is no ice on the board. This level of uncertainty made me go for a bit of a classic with Aeneas + Conduit, with a bonus Turbine in the mix just to make sure we don't happen to suffer too much against Jinteki glaciers and other similar decks.

I love how rewarding Arissana can be, as she allows lots of creativity during the game and rewards the pilot for seeing obscure lines. This is not ideal for a continental that's happening the same week the cards get released, but in my heart I knew this was the only runner I was gonna play from the start. I think there's multiple directions the list can take depending on how the meta shakes up over the course of the next few weeks, though I suspect amping up the aggression might be the right way to go.
