This was born from a very silly thought that I had on the plane back from Worlds 2023: "how can I play Mutually Assured Destruction and take advantage of it in the same turn?"

The game plan is very simple:

  1. Gain money and draw/tutor cards.
    • Trash cards with Nuvem's ability extremely liberally for more money and to power through the deck more quickly to find the combo.
  2. Install ICE on centrals.
  3. Play keep away with the agendas.
  4. Gain more money and draw/tutor more cards until you have:
  5. Go off:
    1. Biotic, trigger Nuvem and discard whatever it is to gain 2c
    2. Biotic
    3. MAD, trashing enough stuff to overwhelm any No Free Lunchs the runner has
    4. πŸ”«
    5. πŸ”«
    6. πŸ’€
  6. ...πŸŽ‰?

As gimmicky as it is, this deck has had a surprisingly good record so far. It usually ends up with plenty of money, even after rezzing all of the expensive ice, especially with the aid of Send a Message. I have fairly consistently been able to keep agendas and transactions cycling through the deck with careful Spin Doctor and Sprint usage.

Strangely enough, I've only ever killed somebody with Punitive Counterstrike once. Every other win has, somehow, been with the full 5 card combo.

Q&A

Q: Is this deck actually good? I mean, it's a five card combo...
A: Unlikely!

Q: Doesn't this completely fall apart against Burner, Cupellation, a halfway efficient breaker suite, or literally any sabotage at all?
A: Yup!

Q: ...so what's the purpose of this deck, exactly?
A: idk i think its funny i guess
