Trying to be a good runner

A few thoughts:

  1. Morning Star is a powerful breaker. But it doesn't have a way to boost strength, and you aren't running Datasucker. So if you run into an Asteroid Belt, Heimdall 1.0 or even just a Fire Wall with an extra advancement, you're locked out. And if you're going to commit 4 influence, 8 credits and 2 MU to a breaker, you want to make sure it works.
  2. Is Scheherazade really the best way you can make money in this deck? Even with your Desperado up, you can only install 5 MU of programs; with 2-MU programs like Garrote, Morning Star and Sneakdoor Beta you are probably only going to be able to install 3 programs on Scheherazade, at best. At that point, you would be better off just running three Easy Marks. Especially since Scheherazade is unique, meaning you can't play the second or third copies.
  3. I love me some Silencer/Switchblade action, but you can't really go halfway on stealth. You should decide if you want to go all the way (in which case you should at least throw in Ghost Runner) or just stick to normal breakers like Garrote or Ninja.
  4. Two Networking and two Paper Tripping? That's a hell of a lot of tag removal. What are you so afraid of? Your only resource is Bank Job, which shouldn't be on the table more than one click anyway, and with three Plascrete Carapace you are more than protected against Scorched Earth. Part of running Criminal is learning to live with tags, at least short-term. Networking and Paper Tripping also act as very different kinds of tag removal: Networking is most useful when you're clearing tags one at a time, but Paper Tripping is only really efficient if you're cleaning at least 3 at once.
  5. You're 3 cards over your minimum. I've heard the advice given that you should build decks 3 cards over and then cut after playing a few games--if that's what you're doing, by all means do, but if this is meant to be a final product definitely find the 3 least useful cards and cut them.

@tiedyedvortex

1 - I saw that problem on morning star, that's why i put a corroder together. the morning star is just to economize some credits when facing a lot of subroutines.

2 - Scherazade isn't to make money, is to host programs and solve the MU problem with programs that cost 2 or more MU.

3 - That counsel about Ghost Runner was Really useful.

4 - I was traumatized after a lot of tagging and Scorched Earth's in my face

5 - That was the plan

Scheherazade don't save you memory. Compare it to Djinn. Djinn says

The memory costs of hosted programs do not count against your memory limit.

Scheherazade doesn't say that, so it still is going to cost you MU to host programs on it. If you want to use program hosting to save MU, you have to either run Djinn, Leprechaun or Omni-Drive, and of those, only Leprechaun lets you install 2MU programs like Morning Star and Sneakdoor Beta.

@holiver789 I made that same mistake when Scheherazade came out!

@tiedyedvortex @chiefyk yeah... already editted that and put a Leprechaun instead of Scherazade
