Master Thief Protégé (3-0 in Fite Club 2024)

My team is now out of Fite Club. This tournament was a blast, big thanks to AxWill and Aksu for organizing it, Jai and others for streaming it, and all of my opponents. Good luck in the semis, Unband Neurofire!

This is Koga's worlds deck with no Clot, a Boomerang, and no Slap Vandal. The reasoning is that Slap Vandal can't break a lot of important subroutines (in particular against PD) that boomerang can, and often I found that having 1 less card in the deck is better to draw into SMC + overclock more consistently. At worlds, after no practice games, I was only 3-3 with doof Ari, but I immediately realized its power. Since then, I've played 70 more games with it, winning 77% of them. I was right; its a good deck.

In Fite Club, I won twice against Rush Ob (notably one of those was against overpowered player 'the king') and once against Thule. There is nothing i love more than breaking into a remote that seems impossible to break into, and Ari does that on the regular. Its ability to pressure R&D, HQ, and remotes evenly gives rush decks a headache, and glacier melts to the Turbine doomrig. Corp side, I played Jai/the King Rush Ob all tournament, technically going 1-2 but one of the losses was a decklist error game loss.
