The Replacement Killers

A long time ago, back in the wild month of March, I played a deck called Little Kid Weyland at a Store Championship, based on playing Midseason Replacements in Blue Sun and hitting for as much meat damage as possible. Of course, it turned out that having only two Midseason Replacements in your deck means it's often not a viable threat. Suffice it to say, the tournament didn't go well.

But Consulting Visit changed that. Now you can always have a Midseason Replacement surrogate in hand, ready to fetch it at a moment's notice. On top of that, you can use Consulting Visit to serve as surrogate Scorch or TA if you just need those two to kill your opponent, or as extra Oversight AIs to almost guarantee yourself a turn 1 big ice if you're willing to risk it.

The result is a deck that can make a huge pile of cash and then start jamming agendas as fast as it can find them, daring the runner to come and take them and meet the meat.

If you have a lot of Film Critics in your neck of the woods, I recommend either a Snatch and Grab or a SEA Source, since beating that card requires some unusual plays (like jamming two agendas in rapid succession on the theory that they can't Criticize them both) which you'd rather not have to make. Exchange of Information might also be a nice addition, since it can net you a two-point swing off a Hostile which can often be the amount you need to finish the game if meat damage becomes impracticable. Also, it's possible the deck will want a Subcontractor when FTM comes out, since that enables you to fire ten damage even if you have to Consulting Visit for a missing piece.

You may want to pack a 1x Snatch and Grab to deal with Film Critic. Otherwise looks very cool.
