Where did this come from?

This is a completely untested deck built on a crazy concept. I was thinking how to build a deck for Gagarin Deep Space. A shell game did not seem that ideal as Weyland does not have many ambushes ( or even just assets for that matter) in-faction.

The ID ability still works for each card installed in a remote server so I explored the concept of a mega-remote with numerous upgrades (hence the deck name). This inevitably led to the possibility of attempting to score Government Takeover.

Considerations for scoring Government Takeover

Nine advancement tokens is an expensive investment no matter how you look at it. Plus the runner is given two full turns' notice to run the server (assuming you never advance then just go three advancements for the next three turns).

The idea was to have ice strong enough to keep the runner out, and upgrades which aided the setup of the server and mitigating the impact of attempting to score Government Takeover.

Ice

Hive is a great ice for attempting to score a 9/6 cause all the subroutines stay until you score that big agenda and then it would already have served its primary purpose.

The new space ice are great taxing ice that help keep the runner out of your servers. The advancement requirement is eased by the inclusion of Simone Diego and Shipment from Kaguya. The second Orion increases the chance to draw it, plus it works with The Twins.

RSVP synergises nicely with Gagarin's ID ability. Whereas Fire Wall is just more of taxing ETR ice.

Agendas

Government Takeover for the audacious method of winning. Government Contracts provides an alternative source of credits for an otherwise rather low econ deck. Project Atlas is the best card to over advance and or can be faked as an upgrade to score the winning points. Utopia Fragment adds to the tax for stealing from your mega-remote.

Upgrades

Most upgrades are 1x because of influence or because they can be substituted by another upgrade.

Simone Diego is the most important to reduce the cost of advancing cards in or ice protecting the remote hence 3x.
NeoTokyo Grid helps a bit more with advancing cards in the remote. Combined with Simone, spending a full three advancing cards in/protecting the server costs a net of 0. (Note: As long as at least one of the three advancements is on a card in the server, the net is 0.)

Dedicated Technician Team is for building up ice on your servers.
Caprice Nisei, The Twins, Red Herrings and Off the Grid help to protect whatever is in your remote. Crisium Grid fends against Siphon and Legwork on HQ (or the odd Quest Complete), plus it combos with Off the Grid.

Operations

Hedge Fund for necessary burst economy.
Shipment from Kaguya to save 6 by double advancing space ice. Alternatively it nets you 1 if you combo with NeoTokyo Grid by advancing an asset or agenda in the remote.

Assets

GRNDL Refinery for more credits.
Jackson Howard for his usual abilities.

Plan B to pass off as Government Takeover. If you get it up to 6 advancement tokens before the runner accesses it, you get to score a 5/3 from hand. Barring expose effects, the runner is likely to run it at 6 advancement tokens cause they cannot afford to have you score Government Takeover. Even at 3 advancements you can score a Project Atlas. Plus your remote should be taxing, which should open a scoring window for you right after the runner accesses Plan B.

Final comments

One key to note is that the deck carries no bad pub as that nullifies Gagarin's ID ability somewhat. Hostile Takeover would have been good to close the game after Government Takeover but more likely than not, it will just increase the number of agendas in deck for the runner to steal.

Another thing to note is no Scorched Earth because there isn't enough deckspace, influence or credits for a tag & bag package. Let the other Weyland decks put the fear of Scorch into runners for you.

Let me know what you think about this idea!
