I really liked Council's Empress AgInfusion for Sisyphus delivery, so I made some small changes. Most notably, Nisei MK II and one more Border Control.
The key to winning with this deck is to play and rez Brâns, and have and defend a Charlotte. That's it. Brân is such a good card that even just rezzing it gives you a much better chance of winning.
I think having some 4 point agendas in the deck is super helpful, because it lets you never-advance score with a La Costa Grid, and having to score a third 5 pointer is always hard and often harrowing.
Sprint instead of Attitude Adjustment - I think Attitude Adjustment is a great call because non-ICE deck slots are really tight and compressing the "bad draw mitigation" and econ together is a smart move. But I like Sprint more to deal with agenda flooding.
I'm still unsure whether Mindscaping is worth the slots. Yes, it does help us come back from low credit totals, and protect R&D at the same time. But the tag threat happens so infrequently...
Game 1 vs on Ken: He kept good aggression against my servers, until I scored a Sisyphus Protocol. He ran R&D withanswers to barriers and sentries, but I went down to 0 credits to rez the facedown Vampyronassa and threw him into it again with Sisyphus Protocol for a total of 4 net damage, flatlining him.
Game 2 vs Kevin on Esâ: I got hit with Stoneship Chart Room -> Time Bomb a lot in this game, but Esâ's core damage kept trashing Chastushkas, and I was able to keep a Charlotte alive and score out.
Game 6 vs Harp on girls: I couldn't find any econ cards, and I made several misplays in this game, often being on 0 or 1 credits and not able to rez a Tatu-Bola to dig myself out of the hole. I didn't find a Charlotte, and Harp trashed the first one she found about halfway through my deck. I sacrificed too much tempo never-advance scoring two Nisei MK II early with La Costa Grid, which left me too poor to rez my Anansi and Brâns. R&D held admirably against 6 or 7 3-4 card deep digs, but the game went to time and I was one point down. I didn't even have any no Nisei MK II left in the deck to get with DRM and score, even if I had one extra turn.
I played a Deep Dive LobiOrca Kit with a bit of tech for PD / Asa and Azmari, which I expected to go up against. Thanks to Henry (Wentagon) for running the event!

Appreciate it :) I wanted to note that much of the slot decisions I made came down to preferring the lower density of a 7 agenda suite. If you don't mind going up to 8, then I think the DRM becomes less necessary. On the flipside you could play more Sisyphus Protocols over Nisei MKII's if you so desired. 2 and 2 seems like a good balance to me. |

Thanks for sharing your Empress Nisei deck! Your strategy is really interesting and creative. To relax after stressful matches, you can try io games they are simple but very attractive. Hope you will continue to succeed with your deck!
