[Borealis Startup] The Burning Wheel

This is an old decklist of mine from the Borealis Startup days, roughly a year ago - however it’s currently still legal in both the current Startup and Standard formats. I think it makes a pretty good shell for an Esâ sabotage deck. Publishing so that I can share with a friend.

Econ package:

• Sure Gamble
• Dirty Laundry
• Ghosttongue
• Liberated Account
• No Free Lunch

Card Draw:

• Esâ Afontov: Eco-Insurrectionist
• Jailbreak
• Steelskin Scarring
• Earthrise Hotel

Sabotage:

• 2 per Core damage using Esâ Afontov: Eco-Insurrectionist:
  • 1 core from Finality x2
  • 1 core from Ghosttongue
  • 1 core from Marrow
  • 1 core from Light the Fire!
  • 1 core from Begemot
• 4 from Chastushka x3
• 1 from Marrow each time an Agenda is scored
• 3 from Time Bomb x2
• Plus a reuse of any particular card using Katorga Breakout

Multi-access:

• Jailbreak
• Finality
• The Twinning
• Scooping up sabotage targets from the bin

The game plan:

• Pressure centrals with our efficient breakers, plentiful econ, and numerous sabotage effects.
• Install K2CP Turbines to ensure we can break the toughest of ice
• Use Cezve to save on the cost to hit centrals
• Which centrals can we hit?
  • HQ: hit them with the Chastushka or Jailbreak and then Set Them Up The Bomb!
  • R&D: Finality or Jailbreak. A good place to use those The Twinning counters as well.
  • Archives: Collect those Sabotage targets, or Katorga Breakout for more nonsense
  • Can't hit centrals? Then wipe out the remote with Light the Fire!

This deck is pretty weak to centrals lockout - if we can't make successful runs, cards like Chastushka, Dirty Laundry, Finality, Jailbreak, Katorga Breakout, Time Bomb and The Twinning don't do much. As such - this might need a bit more work to be totally viable. Side note is that you can charge Time Bombs using Stoneship Chart Room!
