Pre-rotation decklist |
The point of this deck is to repeatedly spam advertisements, plus some high powered upgrades. It primarily uses License Acquisition and Team Sponsorship to recycle cards from archives, but they can also save you a click by installing from HQ. In addition, Team Sponsorship can just as easily install ICE and agendas.
Messing with their math is critical with Spark Agency.
The advertisements:
Launch Campaign: Cheap and effective, the only disadvantage is the low trash cost which makes R&D more porous.
Adonis Campaign: Launch Campaign on steroids. It will net you a lot of , but it can still be trashed without paying too much.
PAD Campaign: Standard drip econ. Good trash cost, low rez, solid 1 per turn.
Pop-up Window: Oddly enough, Pop-up Window is actually an advertisement.
Launch and Adonis trash themselves, conveniently letting you reinstall/rez them for another credit denial from the runner. Note that you get a rez window after EACH action the runner takes, in addition to plenty of other times (like during a run so they can't break an ICE.) That means if you know they're clicking for a certain number of credits, you can rez an advertisement to prevent them from doing what they want.
The ICE:
Most of it is taxing ice, with Wraparound as gearcheck, and Archer or Archangel or Data Raven + Keegan Lane for defensive aggression. The Tollbooth is just good at costing them money.
The Agendas:
AstroScript Pilot Program does the same thing it always does: be overpowered. Astrotrain is real. License Acquisition supplements Team Sponsorship to get things back, depending on what you need. Keegan Lane (to put behind Data Raven)/SanSan City Grid/Ash 2X3ZB9CY/Cyberdex Virus Suite are all fantastic targets depending on the situation.
15 Minutes comes right back to you, NAPD Contract is even harder to steal than normal with the credit denial, while Project Beale sits there as either a 3/2 or 5/3, depending on what's needed to win.
The Support:
Ash 2X3ZB9CY does a great job of keeping servers safe. Getting trashed isn't the end of his life, but rather an opportunity that License Acquisition and Team Sponsorship can take hold of. Getting SanSan City Grid come back (or even rezzed for free) is amazing. Keegan Lane can repeatedly snipe programs, especially on a remote protected by Data Raven. Cyberdex Virus Suite can keep purging over and over, when brought back from the grave, enabling Fast Advance as a viable option.
Weaknesses:
Whizzard/Scrubber can be troublesome, but the deck has an abundance of assets for income. Simply putting a Pop-up Window in front of each asset easily increases the tax to more painful levels. Make sure they are taxed at least somewhat when trashing your resources, it's ok if they get through.
Notes:
Remember that since this deck is either fast or no-advance, you can bluff agendas with assets/upgrades. Alternatively, you can bluff an install-advance(-advance) as bait, if they will be careless in trying to get at it. The most important places for Data Ravens are the remote and R&D. Then throwing Keegan Lane in that server is ideal
