Do You Even Jinteki, Bro? v2

drmastodon 101

This is mostly standard RP tax and click compression with ELP, Eli, Caprice, Ash, etc.

Agendas are mostly standard RP, with the exception of 1x Chronos Project replacing a NAPD Contract. It is brutal against MaxX, Faust decks, Shaper and Virus recursion and Prepaid Kate if you can hit her pre-Levy.

Economy in this deck is extremely strong, with Sundew and Toy Giraffes. There have been games where I've been sitting on 35+. The information bleed from showing off my tiny long horses really hasn't been an issue given the low agenda density, 17 pieces of taxing ICE and 6 traps in this deck.

Speaking of traps, these are just included to hurt multi-access attempts on HQ and R&D and make Archives a nasty place to get Susanoo'd.

There are a lot of one-off pieces of ICE in this deck and that has oddly not been a problem in playtesting. The scoring remote usually gets some combination of Chum or Inazuma in front of Susanoo-No-Mikoto or Ashigaru. R&D will usually get an Architect, Crick eventually ends up on Archives and something nasty will go in front of HQ. Sundew will get an Eli or maybe a Pup, because I expect it to get trashed and the runner will have to spend most of their turn or 4-6 to do so. And then I'll just bounce it back with Architect, Crick or Jackson. Swordsman usually ends up on R&D since Keyhole+Eater is still a thing.

Weaknesses

  • Run events cut through Enhanced Login Protocol and an early Account Siphon can be hard to recover from.
  • Most of my ICE is in Mimic range, but it's still relatively taxing. If the runner isn't playing Mimic, then the sentries are brutal.
  • Parasite will kill most of my sentries.
  • Employee Strike will be painful when Data & Destiny drops.
