Khandromeda Savvy Ristie

The man stared at her with a serious look of disapproval:

  • My dear, you can't continue like this... all those crazy exclusive parties with after-hour guests in your hotel suite will end up in a disaster... and the reputation of the family...
  • Oh dad, give me a break - she responded while standing up from the sofa. She had been listening to her father's advice for a while, and she realized she didn't have to anymore. The dispossessed girl had to go and make some money to pay for her expensive lifestyle. - I went to the career fair like you told me, and met with your friend Mr. Li. Now I'm working on his freelance contracts and between that, testing his online websites and my blog, I have enough to pay for what I want! - of course, she conveniently forgot that she also made money at her parties, since coming from a well known family secured some rich guests. She knew there was not much risk...
  • But... but... - stammered the old man
  • Look daddy, I always got good marks and still you kicked me out of the family for spending too much. I get it, you said it to me over and over again. But now I can provide for myself. Thank you. - She was prepared to leave, but remembered something. After pulling an envelope with some pictures held together with a paperclip, she passed it to her father. The man looked at the pictures and sighed.
  • Now you bought exotic birds?? How much did they cost you?? How can you pay for it?? Andromeda...
  • DON'T CALL ME THAT! - she yelled at him - I'm not your little girl anymore. Mr. Li thought I needed a street name, now everyone calls me Khan. Everyone includes you too.
  • Don't talk to me like that... - replied the old man, sad to see his daughter being the independent woman he had wanted her to be. - I will give you the money, but I want your respect back.
  • Oh daddy, the money I needed has already been taken from your account, I just needed to know if you would offer it to me face to face...

And as she opened her computer in the taxi, checking her new programs, she felt like a princess who got her kingdom back. She put the computer on auto-pilot and reclined to think about her mother's offshore accounts in some Asian bank. The security there was tougher than her father's, so she had to buy some special gear before the hack...

Love the effort put into the description.

But if there was such a thing as too much econ I think this might be pretty close. No tutor, no multi-access, no meat shield.

You've got enough cash to keep traces to a minimum and enough econ and card draw that losing a click to clear tags isn't really a problem.

Yeah... I'm always scared of running out of money! I added one Plascrete Carapace for one of the Career Fair because I was being BOOMed too often, but with one plascrete and with Box-E it's enough protection I think. As for no multi access, you're right, it's more of a wait and deconstruct everything the runner is building deck. Tutoring is needed sometimes, but I normally run the deck pretty fast to find everything on time. Mr. Li and Earthrise Hotel help... but yeah, maybe drop the Levy AR Lab Access and add a couple of Special Order ?

Thanks for the feedback! this is still a work in progress!

Here's another thought that I scaled back because I didn't want to go off on someone else's idea. Khan isn't a great runner.

Her ability doesn't really offset the lack of economy in her breakers. If you add the third raptor breaker and her console there is some potential to make her work but I don't think that running her super econ heavy and hoping that your rig is going to offset the costs of reinstalling those breakers is going to make up the difference.

I did a credit check of Golden vs a Grim just to compare costs. If you're not getting the benefits from datasucker, zade and rara its 16 credits for you vs 10 for the corp. And even if you do have those three parts of your rig you can really only get the full benefit once a turn. And on sentries who are >10 cost (only two) the cost is even higher because their strength is higher and they have more subs than grim.

Costs are fairly similar for Peregrine vs Tollbooth (a common encounter) It's actually 19 vs 10 because of the tollbooth cost.

In contrast Peacock is the next nearest decoder in criminal and it would cost 4 to break and 3 to install making the swing 7 vs 5.

I think maybe take the deck as is, drop the fancy birds, the rebirth and upgrade to some HQ interface with some more efficient breakers and inside jobs?
