Sometimes the best defense is a good offense. With enough ads to trigger Spark's ability nearly every turn, a brutal 4 tag operation, and tag punishment out the wazzoo, even tagme runners are going to feel the pain.
This isn't a kill deck, no. This is about spamming shark week ads and then showing the same few shots of a shark ripping apart a whale for hours on end. It's painful, it's mean, and it's really unfun to play against. I can't stress that enough.
But, it's powerful, and while slow-and-grindy, it will win you games.
Res cheap ads like Launch Campaign and Product Placement on your turn, and then interrupt their cash flow by ressing Adonis Campaign or Eve Campaign on theirs.
Protect your central servers with taxing ice like Pop-up Window, Turnpike, and Data Raven. Protect your scoring server with Tollbooth, Archangel, and Resistor.
If you're playing against security testing or au-revoir, clog up your other servers with Special Offer, Pop-up Window, and Turnpike.
The goal is to get as much money as fast as possible, while draining the runner early on, not letting them get set up. When it's go time, smack them with a Hard-Hitting News to kick off the fun. Destroying resources is only the first trick you have up your sleeve.
Tag-me runners are silly. They won't get away, because you have Closed Accounts, Resistor, and Exchange of Information which can trade a Breaking News or 15 Minutes for a Global Food Initiative. Oh, and don't forget to hide Keegan Lane behind a Data Raven to kill their most important breaker (or an econ card like Magnum Opus)
For support, we have Underway Grid to protect against Inside Job, Femme, or whateverelse nonsense they're running. We have Cyberdex Virus Suite for pesky viral digs (or clot). And we have Breaker Bay Grid to ensure we can res our Eve Campaign and Adonis Campaigns. Even one free res makes this card worth it.
Don't think our ads are used up once and then gone! We have Jackson Howard for in-faction protection and draw, and Ad Blitz for getting a sweep of our cheap ads back.
Lastly, as icing on the death-grinding cake, we have Subliminal Messaging, which is the best runner-bait I've experienced yet. It's only 1 credit... what's the big deal?

That's a good thought! Maybe replace reversed accounts with that. The other card that barely didn't make the list is The All-Seeing I. |

The tag-punishment package I run in my deck is: Has worked wonders for me so far. If they take a Hard-Hitting and roll with it, Psycho can FA a Food, and that's not nothing... |

Psycho and All-seeing were cut in favor of Keegan Lane and Ad Blitz. I don't like too many cards that rely on the tags sticking, as that can add up to a lot of dead cards in your hand. Instead, closed accounts, ad blitz, and keegan (via data raven) can all apply pressure even if the runner is great at clearing their tags. |
city surveilance? Seems good with breaker bay grid and all
