Little Engine

Diogene 3964

This deck has so much tempo hidden in it. It run pretty well.

Inspired by Sokka234's deck.

Mulligan plan : get Safety First or Patchwork in hand.

The Little Engine : Nathaniel "Gnat" Hall: One-of-a-Kind get us a drip of 1, at the end of the turn, Safety First will draw clicklessly. Whatever we do not need we can feed to Patchwork (2 of value). Anything else we just play.

Since we aim for a 0 sized hand, Cradle becomes quite good. And with the number of virtuals, Odore can break ices like Ansel 1.0 for pretty cheap. Leech would be good here, but the MU are tight and I was not able to support it. Instead, I went for Ice Carver, which help a lot.

Because we have 0 cards in hand, we lose to Snare! and House of Knives. And Kakugo becomes impassable. With Guru Davinder, we can stay in the game. The problem of not being able to score Obokata Protocol is not a big one for us, since we don't have the cards in hand for that.

This deck run itself pretty well. Tags could be an issue, there is not much support to counter tags here.

Otherwise, it is a pretty efficient engine and a good fun to play. Thanks again to Sokka234 for the stream which inspired this deck.

What about having one copy of a backup fracter so that if something goes wrong/the corp has some big ugly ice you can get over it?

I remade the deck here. I think it is better. With more breaker to get them earlier and load of creds.

But to address you comments, you are correct. In further testing, I felt that having more breakers in the deck allowed be to threaten earlier. Hence, you idea of having more breakers (fracter or others) is good.

Thanks for sharing.
