*** The Challenge *** My friend and I are exploring some of the lesser used IDs in the game and testing our deck building by having a weekly random ID challenge. I'll publish whatever nonsense I come up with each week and some of my thoughts behind it.

Second week and my first runner. I wasn't especially excited to get Ken Tenma and once my Copycat deck attempts fell flat on its face, I tried to make a MWL version of Dave Hoyland's Public Cafe deck that I taken to a underused IDs tournament. MWL hits the deck hard and (like all criminals) the extra cost for Desperado is hard to take. For this reason I felt I had to drop one of the cutlery cards, option for Knifed as the sentry breakers need a little help and criminals tend to hate code gates.

Testing this online I would certainly include another Plascrete for all the murder death but that's hard to include when you are facing another random ID. If I had done so then maybe going tag me is not a big deal for this deck as the resources as nice to haves rather than essential.

In the game, a second Plascrete was unnecessary as I was playing against a cool Jinteki bio ethics kill deck run out of Chronos Protocol using Salem's Hospitality and Neural EMPs to finish the job. I was making enough money to kill all the important assets. I was just a little unlucky to hit a Fetal AI and finishing the turn with two identical cards in my hand of 3 being Salem's and 2 EMPs were enough to kill me as my friend saw the pair of SOTs.

Series so far: 1-1
