Yet Another Shaper Apoc List [Standard]

Inspired by Ysengrin Fite Nite Preview video (https://youtu.be/2N7jIPSl71o), this is my take on a shaper apocalypse deck. It is resilient, if anything.

Yet another meme

Mulligan plan : Econ first. Draw second.

Game plan : Apoc as early as possible, even against only 3 ices. Then freely runs centrals.

This aim to do impactful run as much as possible, using Jailbreak and The Maker's Eye.

Use Simulchip to bring back Engolo or Harbinger.

You have lots of draw with Deuces Wild, Diesel and Lat: Ethical Freelancer.

As soon as you find it, Rebirth into Rielle "Kit" Peddler: Transhuman. This will make is much easier to pass ices.

Turtle up a bit and get plenty of credits to prepare for your Apocalypse turn. Sometime, that mean exploring the ices by make runs on centrals. Sometime that mean clicking for credits, on top of using everything that is available.

There is a reason for 3x Misdirection. First, this deck was dying a lot to tags, in previous iterations. In standard, Hard-Hitting News is an amazing operation for many corp archetype. Getting Misdirection on the board prevent this. Also, it is easy fodder for Aesop's Pawnshop, becoming the near equivalent of clicking for 3 (even if trashed by Apocalypse).

The game is not over after the first Apocalypse. But it is after the second. Best card I've seen to prevent Apocalypse is Anoetic Void. Second best is tied between Crisium Grid and Manegarm Skunkworks and third is Border Control.

I believe Shaper are just as good or even better than Anarch for Apocalypse, but I'm biased toward shapers.

Deck changes ideas.

-Wildcat Strike instead of Deuces Wild for more burst econ.

-Conduit instead of The Maker's Eye (as demonstrated in Ysengrin video).

-Dirty Laundry instead of Creative Commission.

-Replace Harbinger and Rebirth by 3x Boomerang and 2x Telework Contract.

Cheers!
