Hi guys :3
So ye, time for another of them Gang Sign Kim decks! Man, are they fun to play. With Wyldcakes and Faust being oh so strong, its almost starting to feel good too.
I tried Gang Sign with Kim early on, but often lacked enough early pressure for agendas to start filling up in HQ for it to be really effective. Then another cool card came along; Faust! Which, as some may have noticed, can pressure remotes very well and very early.
My current build (2.0) runs HQ Interface for multi-access (after abandoning Nerve Agent once I read its wording properly...). But then I noticed one of the new D&D cards. Look at it. Looked at it again. Wait, 0 cost HQI? Suuuure, a little drawback - but hey, I like trashing things anyway. And since Scrubber is in-faction, I might just have fun trashing ALL the things.
Unfortunately Skulljack doesn't seem able to replace Scrubbers for an all-in skull theme alongside Faust and Gang Sign :(
Wyldcakes and money resources makes for solid card and credit econ and works (this is nothing new) extremely well with Faust as main breaker.
The deck requires some setup. As in most Wyldside-driven decks, getting that online early is important. If centrals are left vulnerable early don't shy away from putting some harassment down, but don't waste all your time doing that.
Early game number one priority is to threaten remotes. Make the corp not want to score agendas so that they start stacking up in hand, so that once they can score "safely", they have a bunch of agendas in hand to risk.
Mid and late game, start pressuring those centrals. HQ and R&D are both viable targets with Neutralize All Threats and Medium.
Breakers are simple. Faust deals with most things. Mimic is for multi-sub sentries and Swordsmen. Corroder offers a more effective way to break barriers, especially towards the late game when your stack runs thin.
Stack recursion. I went for none. Costs precious influence, or memory if using Trope, and memory can become an issue late after I swapped Grimoire for Turntable. It does happen that one gets decked out though, so there is definitely space testing to be done here.
For some additional trashy flavor I added 1x Drive By. It can get around those obnoxious Caprices etc in early scoring remotes and can sometimes nerf the drawback of Neutralize All Threats. Might be swapped for about anything though, used to be 2 additional Career Fair, but annoying upgrades are a more common problem than credits when using Faust in my experience.
Queen's Gambit is a great way to get a Liberated Account online from 0 credits.
Street Peddlers are just so much fun. Playing Gang Sign between advances is almost as sadistic as Clot.
Cards I'm seriously considering:
Trope - Neat recursion for long games Clot - Longer scoring process increases chance of HQ clogging up and its nice to keep the corp guessing whenever there is a Peddler installed Clone Chip - Been there though, isn't as exciting without GrimoireCheers! Any and all feedback welcome <3

My meta is currently pretty light on that sorts of Jinteki decks (more RP and Greenhouse FA). In theory, I would probably keep installing them if not too far behind (or maybe if behind too for a chance on a lucky chance to catch up :P). And I would make sure to pressure the remotes enough for them not to be able to score -> Snare! -> resource trash me on the same turn. With their light ice builds, securing a remote for more than 1 turn should be hopefully be hard - this is all in theory though! It would be a thrilling matchup for sure, and one I hope to test more. |

I'm starting to get mad respect for Gang Sign as more time passes. I just used a wretchedly bad Sil deck last night and managed to snipe 2 Hollywood Renovations from a Titan deck in less than 2 minutes thanks to my trusty Sign! Coupled with HQI and now with Neutralize, Corps are gonna be ever so frantically digging for their Jacksons to buy them some more time on the board. |

Massive fan of the Gang Sign builds; such an interesting bit of tech. My question; how do you deal with Jinteki? Do you just not install Gang Sign and Neutralize All Threats to protect against Snare! and the like? You really don't want a tag on their turn; popping a Adjusted Chronotype would really slow you down
