[Standard] Darth Týr-ranus

Mancini 62

I pride myself on being part of the Cult of Jank, but has this deck strayed from god? We shall see.

The gameplan of this deck is to put Tyr into archives, then infinitely recur Nanisivik Grid with PD, Restore, and Kakurenbo. That's it. That's the entire deck.

Usually, I can land two cores with a Nanisivik'ed Tyr since runners don't expect Nanisivik Grid in PD. After that, it's basically just hoping I can FA my Ontologicals before they get stolen. The rest of the ice is just gearchecks since ice is awful nowadays. Rototurret in archives works as a decent candidate for Nanisivik for the program trashing subroutine mainly.

Superconducting Hub has actually been quite effective for tempo, though you can slot in Élivágar Bifurcation if you so desire. The rest of the deck is pretty much standard PD cards.

Is this deck my fall from grace? Have I sinned against the holy jank? Probably. Is it fun as fuck to land 2 cores? Hell yeah.

As long as you believe in jank, the jank will be there for you.

Otherwise, this is a good deck. I like the use of Restore to get a Tyr on the board for free. Hence, I would suggest to have 3x Tyr and 2x Rototurret.

And what a great use of Kakurenbo with this deck!

Cheers!

@DiogeneRestore doesn't save any rez costs for Tyr--it's meant more for being another way to recur Nanisivik Grid. I've found two Tyrs to be enough to reliably get one in archives. I've never actually rezzed a Tyr with this deck. The deck isn't particularly rich, so spending 10 credits on a single piece of ice isn't practical. I'm glad you like the deck!
