Based off of the infamous INFO REFINERY.
Do you regard the runner's life as an inconvenience to both parties?
Do you like making little piles of tags in front of the runner, as they look at you with an expression of unconcealed disgust?
Do you like making the runner trash their entire rig?
Do you like the look in their eye as they steal your third Global Food Initiative, naively thinking that they have the game closed out, only to have them all swapped for spent Breaking Newses?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then consider a career in making the Runner's life hell with That SYNCing Feeling!
With AstroScript being errata'd, I've had to include two Project Beale as 3/2s to keep the fast advance dream alive. It comes with the added bonus that you can Psychographics a Beale out for lots of points, if the runner decides to float tags. (Note: this never happens).
Let's talk major changes from Info Refinery, then. Ice selection is broadly similar, swapping one Pop-up Window for a Data Raven, because forcing the runner to spend 3 and a to get rid of the tag afterwards is funny. Bonus points if you can fire the subroutine, and later use it to put a Resistor slightly out of range, or make that Information Overload trash that last card in their rig.
Keegan Lane wasn't doing that much for me, so he was unceremoniously dumped in favour of a single SanSan City Grid. Comes up more often than you'd think.
I threw in a single Ghost Branch, but this could be basically anything that you feel you need in your meta. It's been Primary Transmission Dish, ChiLo City Grid and Cyberdex Virus Suite at various points in the deck's life, but I find that Ghost Branch opens up fun options in the endgame.
In terms of operations, you've got the basic Scorched Earth/Archived Memories combo for flatline. I swapped Midseason Replacements for a Hard-Hitting News, because 5 is a lot of money for this deck, and with a low-ish agenda density, it's hard to pull off. HHN is just all around better, in my opinion. Lots of the other operations I've dropped to 1-ofs, so I can fit in two Exchange of Information. It wins games.
The SEA Source isn't doing much for me at the moment, so it's probably going to be replaced by a second Hard-Hitting News. I find myself clicking for credits a lot with this deck, but that's probably ok, just a bit inefficient.
I find myself increasingly wanting to drop the SanSan, replace one Breaking News with a 15 Minutes, and throw in Zealous Judge for Hard-Hitting News shenanigans. It remains to be seen how good that actually is.
