And boy did I imagine!
Here's the idea: sometimes the runner can eat a lot of spice. But, can it get even spicier?
So I set out to build something that was as friendly as a box of loose cutter blades. This is not a kill deck, per se (though it can certainly delete a careless runner).
Now how does this objective stands to the crushing and often sobering test of reality?
Well. It works. It's not exactly what I set out to make, but I did make something that at least is playable and even fun! (your experience may vary) This is honestly the most fun I had to play Jinteki in a while. First thing, in such a slow pacing as startup stands right now, firing the ID is so satisfying (and also useful). 90% of the time it works every time. Who checks archives nowadays, in this economy?
What does it looks like piloting this thing?
Do not see trashing cards as a cost to pay, but instead a gift that the runner makes you. You can play quite aggressively with your archives, getting things back is relatively easy.
Embrace consumerism, throw things to the bin! As a good waste management specialist, anything is a pretext to make a buck and a half on it. I see some improvements already I could make on this formula, but, dear reader, I leave those to you to find. That way I can steal your ideas that are probably better than mine if I ever have to play against this.
Now for the realest stuff. This list won me my first playmat, straight up. Well the list and the fact that I played some of my best netrunner yet. I came back to Netrunner a year and a half ago. This game is incredible, and the community gave me a thousand times more than what I expected getting more and more serious with the game.
At the same time, the french community is growing quite fast these days, and every tournament is an opportunity to meet new people, returning vets, tournament travelers. I love you people, here's hoping to meet more of you, let's play netrunner sometime.
