🔥 Blitzy Hermes Hoshiko 🔥

My main desire to play this deck was to capitalize on Leela Patel: Trained Pragmatist's ability while corps are still not yet used to it again. Also, I <3 Leela.

🧠 Core game plan: Blitzy style Hoshiko wielding some asset & tag hate, along with the new criminal anarch console.

Strategy & key aspects:

• Gachapon makes you go brrrr
• Hermes compounds the Hippo pain by amplifying the tax of having to constantly re-defend yourself, or worse, undoing the clever corp's plans for the next turn
• Hermes is also NOT a 6+MU rig (like Keiko, Maw, or Knobkierie) which is what anarchs are used to these days, so some program sacrifices must be made. In my perspective, this just allows me to play more non-program orange cards (yay!)

🏆 PERFORMANCE:

Swiss (2-3):

• R1 - W vs Asa Group: Security Through Vigilance
  • Just be able to check an early remote, and follow it up with an orange Legwork to win
• R3 - W vs Jinteki: Personal Evolution
  • Apparently I'm a Jinteki: Personal Evolution magnet. I get a "token win" against PE every tournament. It's definitely tradition now
• R6 - L vs Thule Subsea: Safety Below
  • Flatlined on game point 😭
• R7 - L vs Epiphany Analytica: Nations Undivided
  • Please let this be your my re-reminder to trash Spin Doctor before Stargateing... 🤦
• R9 - L vs Near-Earth Hub: Broadcast Center
  • I thought I was baiting a kill attempt while holding my Steelskin Scarrings in hand. Instead I was murdered in broad daylight with an armor piercing scythe 🪦

🃏 Card choices:

• 3x Bahia Bands, 1x Fencer Fueno, & 1x Hannah "Wheels" Pilintra... These slots carry a lot of weight vs assets & tags:
  • Bahia Bands = The perfect blitz compression card. Able to not only compress ~3-5 actions into 1, but can also provide you the opportunity to clear a tag AND run unexpectedly after being Oppo Researched for 4 tags (not to mention whatever additional 2nd action you choose)
  • Fencer Fueno = Why would I not want a 0+0MU Rezeki in a meta full of assets? Also, it pairs very nicely with Bahia Bands' install action
  • Wheels = This card is certified fun (and nuts!). Essentially, you nest 1+2 to clear a future tag, and get a a free for your ROI. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE: Meanwhile, you get more free s every* turn to run remotes (which is super cool because we like running! It flips our ID, we have Fueno s to spend which also charges our Twinning, and all while giving you more s to do other important things like Liberating some Accounts!)
• 0x Botulus... No Botuli to be found here between a lot of trojan-hate card inclusions and play styles these days, as well as only 5MU

❤️ Thank you Radiant & Whiteblade111 for developing & hosting (along with the rest of the incredible staff and NSG's influence/support) the 1st inaugural Cascadia event! It was a Joy Ride to have the American Continental Championship earmark its beginnings, and an honor to have it in our little corner of the world. Truly a Banner year!
