This is my current iteration of Adam. Currently I justify my influence choices as; IHW is i believe a necessity in Adam. Its the closest thing to an early defense that you can get aside from Plascrete for a flatline, it also allows you to feed your faust in the mid and late game.
Faust is included as one half of the breaker suite, for the simple reason that it might be the best breaker in the game, allowing you to cycle chaff cards for access is invaluable, he also trades cards nicely with Masanori or Safety First if your looking to keep the free card draw going turn to turn.
Overmind deserves mention, only because of the incredible efficiency of Brain chip. that console i find usually allows me to play an overmind with somewhere from 5 to 8 counters and hammer a remote your opponent assumed safe from ABR and E3
E3 Feedback is secretly Adams best console/breaker, it allows you to push through any single ice server. It also is included to decrease the potency of late game ice like archer or orion.
Security testing is a concession to working around your directives, if your are gonna be running, get paid for it. This drip economy can really leverage you into a stable board position.
Anyway its a great starting point if your considering trying Adam. If you have questions or ideas, lets talk about them.

Yeah I had to really scrutinize the directives to come to grips with how good Adam actually is. He essentially starts play with an AI breaker (without the drawbacks), an HQ Interface and a Drug Dealer in play. Not the most accurate comparisons, but the best I've got. He's terrifying, especially against rush decks. Kiss your turn two AstroScript behind Wraparound plays goodbye. |
I'm not saying you need Mimic, but you need Mimic.
