No alarms and No surprises

I am not very good at making decks, but this one has been pretty fun, and has not lost every goddamn time. I took a lot of hints from 241 Kitty (https://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/38386/anrpc-glc-2016-1st-place-kitty-cornered-aka-241-leela#).

I thought I might try a kind of pincer movement. Flood HQ as much as possible with Fisk Investment Seminar, and really just watch what the corp tries to pull.

Your hand is functionally exposed as soon as Find the Truth goes down, somewhat removing the value of surprises like Sneakdoor Beta and Inside Job. But that can work to your advantage. If they know it's coming, they still have to figure out how to deal with an agenda flood while both Rumor Mill and Gang Sign (plus optional HQ Interface) are down. If they lock you out of centrals, sometimes your best chance is to card+credit up, and let them win for you by scoring. Flooding the corp has its downsides, but you're basically wanting to be in a position where their main options during a forced flood are compromised.

Find the Truth along with Laramy Fisk: Savvy Investor works really nicely alongside Doppelgänger for cheap 2 card accesses (at least, until centrals get locked off and you have to go fishing). It's best on a head on R&D access, but there's loads of other neat combinations. Either improve your chances of an HQ agenda access by putting the agenda in hand during a run on HQ (via Sneakdoor Beta if necessary), or if you have a route to R&D, your Doppelgängergives you the chance to swing back on it.

In theory, you're not going to be great at remote accesses without a Faust and Sports Hopper down, but you can put them in a horrible position where they may be so flooded that it's their only option. If it's a trap heavy deck, don't do the run (just have the threat of the run down there). Instead, get some Gang Sign down, along with HQ Interface - made cheap once by Modded. But make sure you draw up and have a sports hopper down in case the gang signs force you to access nothing but net damage.

Doppelgänger works really nicely with Temüjin Contract. Along with Career Fair you can be up 7 credits for one click if there's an open server anywhere.

Career Fair helps your economy bounce off zero with Daily Casts and Temüjin Contract without worrying too much about clicks.

Networking is nice Account Siphon mitigation. I am considering other approaches, like New Angeles City Hall

Data Dealer was one of the initial ideas for the deck - force the corp to deck out by eating enough agenda points, and kill any fuel for Exchange of Information. I've yet to win this way, but I will say that Data Dealer is better than it once was - with new zero point agendas going around, its usefulness has improved. Not better than Artist's Colony, though. If only it were clickless.

The deck definitely suffers from a lack of recursion. Its mortal enemy is Jinteki. I recommend you don't use any gang signs there, as the corp can force you to access their trap and agenda flooded hand to wipe you out when you are not ready to receive damage. Drug Dealer is a nice mitigation against that, however, as you can be on 7 cards on their turn.

And I definitely want to adjust the breaker suite and make room for a Levy AR Lab Access

I'm the one that asked you for this. This is very useful, thanks. Going to test out some different versions over the next few days. Particularly, I'm interested in mixing in some Emergency Shutdown or Crescentus or both to keep them locking down the central. Also, am going to see if using The Gauntlet instead of Doppelgänger makes any sense, but I think it's probably worse. Will also look at changing up the icebreakers. Will let you know how the tests go.

@jtbowlinCool! Funnily enough a previous version had Crescentus and Forged Activation Orders, but this was before I had the economy sorted. Emergency Shutdown does sound a bunch better. Good luck with it, and thanks, and tell me how it goes!
