Krush, Kill and Destroy

Capstone 48

This deck I have grown quite fond of. As per usual for Apex it relies on many events to gain him money and a bit of central pressure using The Maker's Eye. I used to run Legwork in it, but a single copy proved to be to weak for its influence. A nice addition that never disappointed me is Immolation Script. After a first Apocalypse or Prey it slices another ICE for basically free. The deck runs pretty vanilla for an Apex deck and only uses the script as a surpirse attack. You rarely want to go after remotes and instead, if you are sensing a scoring attempt, try for an apocalypse. You will be have to be patient and make only few runs, and always (seem to) have the threat of Apocalypse ready.

Breakers

Apart from the obligatory Endless Hunger, Mimic helps with low end sentries, especially Architect. ZU.13 Key Master will take care of Turing.

Notable Inclusions

Express Delivery might seem weird at first, because Apex wants raw draw power, but when searching for a specific solution like Special Order, an ice breaker, Heartbeat or a run event this proves to be rather effective.

Brain Cage should be self-explanatory, so that the ID's power can be used more often and more confidently. When you get out Heartbeat early you can even prevent its downside.

Levy AR Lab Access is the slow variant of recursion if need be.

Prepaid VoicePAD helps with the many events that cost betweeen 1 and 3 . With the upcoming MWL at least one of these will have to go.

Notable Exclusions

Clone Chip would be nice to get back Endless Hunger during a run, but the cost of 2 Infl apiece is prohibitive and with the upcoming MWL basically a no-go.

This deck does not run any barrier breaker, so Resistor is a major pain. If that ICE would have the Tracer subtype (which imho it should have), Gingerbread might be worth an inclusion. As of now this is the only ice that can stop the run immediately if you don't have sufficient funds.
