Thanks Judges jan tuno and Kror for an awesome event!

Simpsons Throwing out Meme where Steve throws out the Trieste Bioroids from the Bar, but then the Bioroids with an Ablative barrier are behind Steve in the next panel

This deck is a modification of The Ice Age deck by Santa

It went 1-2 at the February AMT, and I think I could have definitely played it a bit better (lots of silly mistakes like placing the Regolith Mining License unprotected in a remote turn 1 TWICE, which killed my econ).

The game plan here is really simple.

  • Ablative Barrier + some scary Bioroid on R&D and then the same in a separate remote to score from.

  • Try to get Stegodon MK IV scored, and if you can, score a second or even ideally a third.

  • Place a Trieste Model Bioroids in archives (or ideally let the runner trash it.

  • Let the runner run either R&D or the remote. Rez Ablative Barrier. Place the Trieste Model Bioroids somewhere.

  • If they continue the run, rez your bioroid, and rez Trieste to make it unbreakable unless they spend clicks.

  • They'll most likely jack out and deal with the Trieste before returning. On the run against the Trieste, Stegodon the ablative. and repeat again if you want :P

Stegodon combos really well with Architects of Tomorrow Bioroid ice because it makes their runs more expensive, gives you quick cash, and so long as you have a Ravana 1.0 or Eli 1.0 on the board, you can just free rez it once per turn later when some other bioroid is passed.

Ganked? Even after the changes?

Yes. The plan with Ganked is to place 2-3 of them in the scoring remote, have a Týr rezzed protecting that server, and ideally a stegodon icebreaker reduction in effect. I can't get circular ganks, but fun fact, forcing three encounters with Týr for the runner is a great way to force them to burn credits or clicks. Once they've burnt clicks to avoid core damage, you can try to score out agendas from hand with the extra clicks Týr gives.
