Run, Tenma Run

My first Tenma list. The goal is fast play, pulling the run events you need when you need them while making money through the noble act of running.

Why are you running 2 Corroders & a Breach? Can't you just cut it down to one Corroder, add another Special Order, then use the 2 spare influence for another Datasucker and a Mimic?

Additionally, I have found that Pre-Paid Voicepad works better than Public Terminal in Tenma. The cost is offset by the first run event you play, and it will help with Special Order, Planned Assault and Sure Gamble.

Oh yeah, you'll probably need some card draw in your deck. Consider splashing for Quality Time or shove some Earthrise Hotels in it. You always want to be hammering the Corp, and having to spend one turn in three drawing back up means giving them some breathing room, which you never want to do with a tempo deck.

@merrja Yep, you're right on both counts. I accidentally published between ideas. I cut to one Corroder and switched to ZU.13 Key Master to put in 3 Quality Time.

As to prepaid, i was concerned about its higher startup cost. I have a good few run events, probably almost one per turn; maybe that's enough?

I run Tenma semi-regularly, and although the upfront cost can seem prohibitive, being able to Sure Gamble at 2 credits can sometimes be exactly what you need.

@merrja Good to know. I'll make that change as soon as i get the pack.

Anything else you see? How about the event suite? Or economy; do I need Kati Jones?

Your event suite looks pretty reasonable. The changes I would make to it are purely personal - I, for example, put in a single Feint for when I need that Emergency Shutdown right now, and for the fact that Crisium Grid is pretty big in my local meta.

For economy - you have Dirty Laundry, Sure Gamble, Account Siphon and Desperado. That's enough.

Consider this: Kati gets you 3 credits / turn.
So does Security Testing an open remote with Desperado out, and you get the 3 immediately.

They can hurt security testing by putting ICE in front of all remotes + Archives, by I consider that a win - you force them to spread their ICE thin, as well as pay to rez it.

However, my meta is not your meta. If you have huge glacier decks with a single triple-ICE remote, consider putting in the Kati, but I personally find Security Testing does the job.

@merrja I've been playing with Silhouette: Stealth Operative a lot lately with a Security Testing/Desperado based economy and when it works, it's gangbusters. When they ICE up... It's depressing. I ended up putting in 1 Kati Jones to at least let me continue to play the game after runs start putting me in the red, so that's why I was worried it wasn't here. Then again, perhaps putting in Kati Jones would defeat the point of our friend the speedy clone and I should just aim to move fast enough to close it out.
