Updated version after 9 games at league last night:

What went out:

-3 PAD -3 Pop-Up -1 Wisp -1 Chimera -2 Wall of Static -1 Bastion -1 Plan B

The concept here is to play Mushin to an end that isn't some form of damage. Using other advanceable assets, like Agg Sec and Thomas Haas, this deck tries encourages the runner to take risks that often result in gains for you. RSVP is an all-star here, assisting many of your trashables and syncing with cards like Ash, NAPD, and Utopia Shardl. Architect is also important as it helps to build strong/ taxing servers, flop in asset econ/agendas (where possible), and get back cards like Adonis and Ash once trashed.

The econ is pretty strong here, using EtF's ID ability with cards like Architect to get some nice net gains. The rest is pretty straightforward: Green Level, Hedge, Adonis, and Haas Mushin/headfake isn't bad at all.

The ICE is admittedly bland. As stated, RSVP is a pro in this with the high volume of trashables and the 'pay to steal' cards. Playing 3 Mushin and 3 RSVP leaves us only with 3 influence to mess around with. I liked Pop-up for its synergy with making trashables less desirable to, well, trash, as well as being a hard ETR with RSVP in a pinch, but think Wraparound is just better. Excalibur is another consideration, as you are head faking a lot, so the smokescreen on something like a central is strong against Criminal and Shaper. The Rototurrets paid nicely with Aggressive Secretary to help keep your ice semi-relevant as the game progresses. You want Architect and Elis on centrals for sure.

Fast Track pairs nicely with Mushin to force through things like Plan B on a Vitruvius or to headfake them into an Aggressive Sec or Haas. OR, if you have your defense up, it works nicely with NAPD behind an RSVP (or in tandem with Ash, etc.). It can also help to score an early Utopia Shard, which adds even more taxing into the mix, making your RSVPs even stronger. Mushin can also help push your single Mandatory upgrades through, resulting in that coveted additional click a turn.

Archived Memories is also important, as you need to be fluid. Not only is it good in the more-commonly-seen Noise match ups, but also for getting a lot of mileage of out Mushin and the many other utility cards/tricks in the deck. We also have Vitruvius for this purpose (when over-scored), as well as Project Hades (different, but still effective against mill and for funneling econ back into the deck). Vitruvius can sneak in by way of Architect as a no-advance, but usually you want to get the agenda counter to get back things like Mushin. I scored Mandatory Upgrades 3 times and it was just nutty.

Inversely (of the Fast Track play above), you can get back a Haas, Agg Sec, and then Mushin out an agenda, keeping them guessing.

While this may seem completely odd, and elicit the question 'Why not play Biotic,' I would suggest giving it a whirl. It is absolutely a play-style type deck for those of you that like risk and reward strategies that put the runner on hard decisions. This deck has something to it for sure.

Hey man - I didn't even know you were on here, until I saw your comments in a deck I was looking at recently.

I'm pretty amazed at how similar our decks were, without ever talking to each other about it. Weird that we both showed up with HB Mushin's... Obviously ETF is > than Stronger Together; like I said, that was to get an achievement point in league. :)

This is like a combo of the HB deck I have been running the last six months, and my new derivative (with Mushin); the RSVP combo with NAPD, Ash, and Utopia is just awesome. I was running Red Herrings at the time too, just for even more synergy. I love Thomas Haas as a "trap" too, as we discussed; it's a no-lose trap, which is hard to come by.

Anyway, I still think I like 3 pointers over 2's (aside from NAPD maybe, with RSVP). I derived one from yours that is using 1 of each Fragment (I really like Eden, nearly as much as Utopia, if you run a lot of ice), 3 NAPD's, and 2 PriReq's. So I have 2 fewer agendas, which makes it harder for the runner to see them. Eden Fragment is also great with ETF because not only do you save credits installing in a layered server, but you get paid a buck for it too. I threw in an extra Archived Memories to help a little with the loss of Project Vitruvius, though it's not as good as either 2 overadvanced Vit's, or a WAY overadvanced Vit.

I also switched out Aggressive Secretary for Sagittarius; for 8 credits you can just auto trash a program, possibly two, if they don't break the subroutine, and it's over Mimic's range (w/o Datasucker or Parasite anyway), so people who facecheck with Mimic will get hurt by it. I dunno, just a thought. I really hate traps that don't pay off (though Mushin lessens the pain a tiny bit), so I thought I'd try it. I ditched the Rotos for that too, because it only costs 1 more to rez, has way higher strength, and can potentially trash w/o pumping the trace. What are your thoughts on Sagittarius? It seems pretty under-used and under-appreciated so far.

I also threw in 3 Excalibur; it just seems to work so well with Ash 2X3ZB9CY, suckering them in with Thomas Haas, a 10-to-steal NAPD Contract (like you had the other night), etc.

Anyway, here's the link to mine, and it's in your "Inspiration for..." now if I did it right. netrunnerdb.com I'd be interested in your thoughts.
