This is Pinsel’s R+ World’s deck with express shipping.
Its success, therefore, should be largely attributed to the careful testing and construction efforts of Pinsel and team KANEHL /KANEHL+.
My idea was to add an express shipping option to the deck. Less manipulating R&D, more same-day dispatch vibes.
I wanted this deck to tag ‘em and bag ‘em faster than you can say Chaskushta.
This rocks against the current Imp infestation. It rocks against Loup matchups.
It also makes it way harder for the runner to trash the Wage Workers and / or the Amani Senai which you need to score out a win. This swap worked so well.
Score this out first and you are a formidable tag ‘em machine.
I found that unlike the trash payoff for Wage Workers, runners were leaving the “sunset socialites” alone. Therefore making the cut to 2 felt possible and not too unreliable in a 44 card deck.
Cutting it allowed me to increase direct opportunities for tag punishment. For how I was playing the deck, this felt more focused as a plan for scoring agendas out. I’m here for that.
Also, added bonus, because of the success of KANEHL+ OG Masterplan, canny meta players thought they’d seen the only Shipment in your deck as you either play it (yay) / lose it in Archives (boo) (from those pesky sabotages from Esâ/ or Hoshiko’s trendy trash actions.
Express shipping options allow you to bag a Bellona out of hand.
And this happens without having to find your Biotic Labour and the credits you need to make it work. I also very enjoyed being able to score the Cryptocrash in just two clicks, leaving room for an Oppo or an economic recovery card
Probably more controversial as a being a “good” swap, but it didn’t do me much harm. It costs an installed decoder more money, a successful gear check means a tag or a refund of the cost to rez the ice in the first place. Eager runners take the tag more often than not, porous as it is, but that works lovely with an inner unrezzed Ping!. Oh and it’ll do 2 net on Bankar rather than the single net damage on the VSA
Overall this deck won 4 / 6 games I played with it. Shout out to Mike leachrode and Ollie for bettering it, in two fantastic games.
I 241’d the last round, as there was still a chance of myself or my fellow Midland runner Hello making Top 16. Hello had Corp, and we played an epic 1 hour single sider, which was honestly one for the ages. I am so happy to have lost to such an accomplished player, in such an epic fashion. Well played, my friend, Hello!
I think that having spent the last four months patiently teaching me the fundamentals as I picked up this brilliant game for the first time, this seems, in the end, like a fair payoff for you to take the final game of UK Nationals 2023.
Huge thanks to Pinsel for sharing their R+ World’s deck.
Thanks also to my wonderful Midlands meta, for testing and teaching me how to play netrunner. I have only been playing since July and you've all been very patient, generous, and kind! Having your own Queer Earth Hub is a powerful thing. So proud of the gang for all your successes at UK Nats.
Thanks to TamiJo for drawing me in at the UK Games Expo and convincing me of the brilliance of this game, right at the end of the day, with so much enthusiasm and good humour.
Thanks to SeaRose for talking me out of making this deck into meme at the final hour. You were right that I had the ability to play this one out straight (in the queerest of ways).
Thanks to everyone I played with on Saturday in the standard tournament, there literally wasn’t a single game that I didn’t love playing.
Shout out to organisers and judges for a welcoming, inclusive, and well-run event. Bring on 2024!

Hi |
Hey! It was great to meet you, our games were incredibly enjoyable, and I couldn't believe it when you said you'd started playing in August! Well done for spotting that ARES is just better than Oracle Thinktank, something I'd completely missed!
