New Creation 162

This is the final form of my Umbrella Toolkit deck before Elevation's release. The last iteration went undefeated in a CTK, and with just two card swaps, it went undefeated in this tournament as well.

The basic plan is to lock down the remote and then combo out with 5-7 runs against R&D in a turn using Conduit, Pichação, Kyuban, and Aeneas Informant. Umbrella lets you draw everything you need to keep momentum and the Corp won't usually draw because they would let you dig deeper with Conduit. Umbrella also lets you repeatedly run R&D against Jinteki: Personal Evolution. If you think the agendas are in HQ instead, use Cupellation.

These were the card swaps:

+1 Dr. Nuka Vrolyck, +1 Creative Commission, -1 Cyberdelia, -1 DJ Fenris

I only installed Cyberdelia in a single game across both tournaments, so I cut one of them. It's still good to have in case you need a bit of a big rig to close out the game, and I prefer Cyberdelia in DZMZ Optimizer in this deck because I often install Kyuban with a normal click so I can install Egret with Arissana. As such, the DZMZ trigger gets wasted. Plus, a single iced remote with anything trashable in it turns into pure econ with Hannah "Wheels" Pilintra, Kyuban, and Aeneas Informant.

As for DJ Fenris, this deck just doesn't really need any of the effects and I wished I had something else instead. We don't run HQ that much to take advantage of DJ Steve Cambridge: Master Grifter - just when we think we can get something with Cupellation or a few free runs with Umbrella and Kyuban. We have Aeneas Informant to deal with assets, so DJ René “Loup” Arcemont: Party Animal isn't really needed. Between Egret, Hush, and Cleaver, barriers aren't much of a problem so we don't need DJ Quetzal: Free Spirit.
