The One-Two Punch

The One-Two Punch:

First Punch - Biotic Labor, Mushin No Shin a Hollywood Renovation behind an ice (preferably a Chimera), then install Vanity Project in an open server as non-chalantly as you possibly can. End turn exuding zero emotion and pray that the runner doesn't steal anything.

Knockout Punch - Biotic Labor, advance Hollywood Renovation four times, score both agendas and win.

Backup plan: Punitive Counterstrike the hell out of them.

Throw out Executive Boot Camp and Public Support to distract the runner and drain credits. You don't have Jackson Howard to save you. It's do or die. Embrace the jank.

Also, threw in an Archer. Just to be cheeky.

The downside, of course, is that Mushin must be in a new server.

Right, so you have to have an ice in hand to protect it. That's why you need the biotic for first punch. Biotic, 4 clicks left, mushin Hollywood, that's two left. Install ice, then install Vanity last click. That's why you have Research Station. It's a six card combo. :) good luck!

Chimera is your best bet. There are no code gates in this deck. So with luck, the runner wouldn't have a breaker installed to deal with it :) It could totally work............

With low cost assets and upgrades in your deck what role does Breaker bay grid fill?

You can rez big ice cheaper, then install over it later and bounce the ice for more cash when you need money for the combo.

Kinda clunky, but then so is a 6-card combo win deck. To be honest, I've never played Blue Sun before. I just dig the maximum jankiness of this decklist. :)

Ahhh, I didn't realize BB doesn't work on ice! Well...Just sub in two other cards then :P

Ahhh, I didn't realize BB doesn't work on ICE. Just sub in 2 Crisiums then. :)

Amazing concept.

As well as the switch of Breaker Bay Grid to Crisium Grid, I'd suggest a bit of further polishing of support cards - in particular I don't think Executive Boot Camp is doing much here. Maybe some higher trash cost, lower priority targets, to teach the runner not to bother running new remotes? Sealed Vault springs to mind; Private Contracts could also work if you've got sufficient money.

That said, you could always just install the Vanity Project in a defended server instead since it's not being Mushin'd.

Or even better - don't play Biotic Labor on the first turn, save them both for the second. Fast advance that Vanity Project!

I just played a version of this deck this afternoon, and got a very satisfying win. I was playing against Kate with Lady, and realized I wasn't going to be able to Mushin out the Hollywood Renovation and be able to keep it alive for long enough. Plus, I couldn't draw my second Biotic Labor. So I had to change my plan.

I had a huge server set up with a Capital Investors in it, with a Hadrian's Wall, two Curtain Walls. I decided to install my Hollywood Renovation in the server, and take a couple turns advancing it/advancing the Hadrian's Wall. Once I ended a turn with 5 adv counters, next time was Biotic, install, advance advance advance done. 3 points in my league!

A few changes: +3 Hive. Since you're planning on scoring it all out in one turn, it'll never have a chance to lose subs. Such a good piece of ice for this deck. I didn't have some of the ice mentioned, so I used Spiderweb and Meru Mati instead. They worked fine.

Nice idea!

@LeonardQuirm yeah, the Executive Boot Camp was mostly filler, although you could use it to grab Public Support and put pressure on the runner to make runs. But there are probably better choices. I like Private Contracts because of the trash cost.

@thesm17 Hive is a great idea! Thanks! Glad to hear you had a win!
