Amazing card. An ability that really slows down the runner. But the cost when trashed is just too great. An with Pinhole Threading being part of the a lot of runner's decks (as of Q2 2023), it is way to hard to protect it for the benefit the card gives. Hence, you are better to use Riot Suppression than Victoria Jenkins to get a similar result.

Funny enough, it is Thule Subsea: Safety Below that would benefit the most from this card. Because taking away clicks is advantageous for the Thule Subsea: Safety Below ability. Victoria Jenkins also pairs well with MCA Austerity Policy and Mr. Hendrik. But giving 2 agenda points when trashed is just too great of a cost.

Good art that evoke an executive, needs a quote because an executive should be saying something. Nothing in the art (and the lack of quote) evoke the ability of the card. Sad.

Unfortunately, nobody seems to use any characters except Spin Doctor and Rashida Jaheem (which are both in every corp deck).

But this is a fun card. Shannon Claire gives two fun abilities.

1. If the runner has checked R&D with Stargate or any multiaccess, you can draw from the bottom of R&D to get a card that the runner does not know about. This is helpful to get out of Stargate lock. Also, if you use this card in a face to face game, there is the satisfaction of seeing the other player puzzled face when you draw from the bottom instead of the top, nothing mechanical, but enjoyable.
2. Clicklessly save an agenda that you threw in the archive. Just like using Spin Doctor. This will (again) save you after Stargate takes out an important agenda from R&D.

The second ability has another benefit. At the late game, you sometime need just a bit of time to setup your win condition. When the runner need to steal just one more agenda, you can make sure that at least one of the winning agenda will be at the bottom of R&D. This will dilute the agenda density of R&D, thus helping you tremendously.

With a cost of 3 to trash, it will always hurt the runner economy. And with a cost of zero to rez, you never have to worry about it. As such, it can act like a 4th (and maybe 5th) Spin Doctor. I would compare this to Daily Business Show in value. Why is it not used more?

Negative agenda point! Poison archive! What a card!

In the Q2 2023 meta, there is News Team, Nightmare Archive, Meridian and Hangeki that can give negative agenda points. Only Nightmare Archive can also poison the archive (meaning it can trigger when the runner sees it in archive).

At two influences, it is cheap to import in any faction. Depending on your corp strategy, it could have the same value as Snare!.

For NBN, it is very good, especially (again) for NBN: Reality Plus. NBN: Reality Plus has a lower agenda count, because it is a 40 cards corp. If you put in negative agenda, it makes it more difficult for the runner to score out, thus giving you more time to win the game. If the runner takes the tags, you get tempo (2 or draw 2 cards) and the runner has to clear tags. As always, it is still good in many other archetype, especially asset spam corp archetype (usually Near-Earth Hub: Broadcast Center or NBN: Controlling the Message), as you can bluff cards on the board that are ambushes.

Of course, this will have no effect against a tag-me strategy or if you do not have tag punishment that can allow you to win if the runner float tags.

Evocative art and I would love to see a quote on this card (like the quote on Lily Lockwell). But with the wall of text, there was no space. Well done.

Sadly for this character, this asset is never used. Especially that now (in Q2 2023), we have Spin Doctor, that draws 2 cards AT NO COST and can even bring them back from archive. So, paying 2 to get 3 cards could be good, but the second benefit is near useless.

Most operation that you would want to win the game (BOOM! and End of the Line) need tags to work, and this REMOVE one tag. So, how good is this?

Let's state the obvious : most runner will not trash this asset. The benefit it gives for the cost is probably not worth paying 3 to trash it. Of course, if you are René "Loup" Arcemont: Party Animal, then it is a different story.

To use the second ability in a sure fire way to kill the runner (using one BOOM! or two End of the Line), it will need to be used after Hard-Hitting News. In that instance, taking away a tag will not do anything if the runner kept the 4 tags. But that is a difficult proposition.

But this is a nombo with single tag strategy. There is not much advantage to take away the single tag of the runner (sparing the running a and 2) to get an operation that does not need a tag to function.

The cutest agenda in the NBN card pool.

Usually (like 95% of the time), if you play this agenda, you also play Funhouse. Because of this, the identity that uses it the most will be NBN: Reality Plus, since it gain tempo AND could gain an agenda point at the same time. But it can be played in any NBN identity that makes use of Funhouse (NBN: Controlling the Message is a common one).

In theory, you could also play Authenticator, which encourage the runner to take on a tag, instead of breaking the ice. But once Buzzsaw and K2CP Turbine are on the board (pretty common in the Q2 2023 meta), then runners simply break it for 1

Because it is so easy to protect (with Funhouse), it can replace the 2-1 agendas (15 Minutes and Post-Truth Dividend) in an agenda suite. Making it more likely that you can score the 7th point to win. A top tier agenda, which is just below 15 Minutes in my opinion, in term of how good it is.
