One of the highest strenght sentry in the game. But how does it compare to other sentries? Badly I'm afraid.

Each faction has a similar or higher strenght sentry that will do more than Assassin. NBN has F2P, Weyland has Trebuchet, Jinteki has Anansi and Haas-Bioroid has Bloop. Paying 7 for a 2 subs sentry, even with 5 strenght, feels bad.

So unless you want to have a lot of high strenght sentries in your deck, then Assassin is seldom warranted. Of course, if you are playing Improved Tracers, then it might be worth it, since it cost no influence and only Sherlock 2.0 and Trebuchet are tracer ices that could benefit from that agenda.

Beautiful and evocative ice, with a nice piece of lore (or quote) going along with it. Amazing job!

This little asset is often used in asset spam that aim to rush. Since it gives credits as soon as you start it, it is always credit positive on the first turn.

But there are three identities that profit from Launch Campaign : Spark Agency: Worldswide Reach, NBN: Controlling the Message and Ob Superheavy Logistics: Extract. Export. Excel.. For Spark, it simply trigger the ID ability, thus taxing the runner that little bit more. For CtM, it encourage the runner to come and trash the asset, thus taxing them more at no expense for the corp. But Ob can really leverage this asset.

If Svyatogor Excavator is on the board, Ob can get 2 from it and then trash it for 3 (total gain of 4 on the first turn, or 5 on any subsequent turn) and tutor a 0-cost card on the board (like Spin Doctorm Rashida Jaheem or Prisec). Even without Svyatogor Excavator, when Launch Campaign trashes itself, Ob can still tutor a 0-cost card. Quite good!

Otherwise, this asset gives 1 more than a Hedge Fund, at the condition that it survive on the board long enough.

I wish I understood what is the reference for "Astrobar". It seems to be some kind of depiction of launching a product from the moon. No quote or lore coming with the card however. It could have been much better.

One of the best agenda, and it is neutral! Even at the cost of one influence, it is worth it.

A neutral agenda with a fake point, what a bargain. This throw off the math of the runner. Usually, it will mean that the corp need to score 3 agendas and the runner will need to score 4 agendas to win. While Global Food Initiative does not make you win faster, it make you lose slower... which will let you have the time to win.

For more math about it, you can check this video.

While losing slower is good as good a defense as any, you need to have a game plan that goes with it. Because you still need to be able to score it. And this agenda does not have the defense of other 3 points agendas like SDS Drone Deployment, Bellona, Degree Mill or City Works Project. And it does not provide you with tempo like Send a Message.

And finally, while one influence is not much, it still take that influence away from other pieces of tech that could win you the game. But for the power of a fake agenda point, it is well worth it.

The art is well made and the quote is on point with the agenda. It also explain the power of the agenda in the fiction (revealing this plan is not very damaging for the corp). But I struggle to understand why a bridge, that seems to be the Tower Bridge, has anything to do with some kind of welfare plan by a corporation. Still, a good design overall.

Now, this is interesting. A cost 0 for a trash cost of 4 is really advantageous. What could really benefit from having its trace boosted?

While tracer ices subroutines would be boosted, this upgrade would really incentize the runner to break the ice, rather than paying for the trace. Which can still tax the runner for sure.

But you can also boost upgrade in the server. Such as Warroid Tracker, Forced Connection, Intake and Drone Screen. Making those trace hurt that much more, making those upgrade either more likely to connect or more expensive for the runner to save themselve. Of note, Rutherford Grid is not persistant (unlike AMAZE Amusements) and if trashed first, will not do boost traces after. But at 4 to trash, it will basically do the same thing as if it was persistent.

You check here to see all the ices that can be boosted by Rutherford Grid.

While this all sound nice, this card would replace other card that can tax just as much, while actually protecting your server, like another ice. So, I feel it is better when used with upgrades that can really hurt the runner (like Warroid Tracker).

The lore and flavor of the card goes well with the name and the nice graphic it has. Well done.

Until recently, because Endurance was everywhere, this upgrade saw no play, since it basically had no effect. But now that Endurance has been banned (we are in Q2 2023), rig shooting is back.

As any passive tag is concerned, NBN: Reality Plus shine here. Put a tag, get 2 or draw 2, trash Keegan Lane to trash a program, now the runner cannot pass the next ice.

I really like it when a powerful effect remove the tag (or give a bad pub), it feels more fair.

Otherwise, this card is especially good if your ice suite is composed mainly from one or two ice type, making the effect of trashing a specific breaker fearsome. Some runner have only one copy of each breaker, which could lead to a prison effect.

Of course, against bin breakers (Paperclip, MKUltra and Black Orchestra), the effect is more like economic denial. I think you should not use this against those, but rather against other program that support them (like Leech, or economic program like Consume and Fermenter).

Also, this does not combine with Quantum Predictive Model and with IP Block, since it remove the condition for this those two are better.

Graphic, quote and name, all makes this sysop great. If only the subtype sysop had any mechanics related to it. Great design.
